StillUnknown
is it written into all our coaches contracts that you must devalue the draft?
sjinhan
Why do people assume this guy is going to be an effective starter?2008 15 games (9 starts), 22 tackles, 0 sacks, 0 passes defensed, 0 forced fumbles 2007 16 games (16 starts), 30 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 pass defensed, 0 forced fumbles Bustron5000 but if we get a 5th rounder to perform at that level then we definitely going bonkers about what a diamond in the rough we have found... lets put that 5th rounder in perspective, especially when the guy we got is only 25 years old. He has been playing out of position.
Soup's Uncle
From Shefter, we swapped 5ths and picked up Carriker...Not bad
SonnyRules
5th for a starter sounds fine for me.Hes only 25 too ...and didn't play one down in 2009 with a shoulder injury; and only started 8 games in 2008 with the same injury. Not happy we gave up a fifth for someone who could end up on injured reserve.
#1njskinsfan
jason freaking taylor is where are 6th rounder went I believe and he jsut signed with JETS dolphins now traded a guy away and then resigned him, and let him walk to jets and STILL have picks from the first time he left... heliKCx17
we swapped 5th rounders. what a fantastic trade. we move back ~20 spots in the 5th for the guy. AMAZING TRADE! our FO IS SICK!
KDawg
Interesting. I have nothing else to say. He was basically free.
Chump Bailey
I just heard that also! Please no draft picks. Why? Adam's been hurt and playing out of position from the start. If he's healthy, he can make for a great DE. He was a top ten pick.
jasjhughes
Adam_Schefter To acquire Adam Carricker, Washington swapped spots with St. Louis in the 5th round for the pick the Rams had from the Eagles. Holy crap, that's almost free.

Polo3
man people are complaining about draft picks....man who siad these draft picks will even be on the team if we pick them....yeah its their duty to pick the right players and thats why they have scouts, fine, good argument but if you feel ike you can get someone who used to be a FIRST ROUND PICK, meaning he has talent and hasnt excelled YET, this is good in my opinion....3 draft picks....so what....doesnt mean you cant trade back and get more, if not, then just get who you can....and get undrafted free agents and trade the players like rocky/campbell and get something in return.... on top of that, they have a plan, SHANNY HAS A PLAN FOLKS!....GOTTA LOVE IT! Best post of the day!!!!!
Est.1974
I heard we moved back in the fifth and up in seventh and got carriker, which would mean we didnt lose any picks Th Rams do have an extra 5th rounder, the 32nd pick in that round. That is possible.
mnb123
So we moved down 28 spots in the 5th round to get a starter.... I'm down with that
Mr. Sinister
White injury prone end?!?! Oh yeah!!!!We better be keeping Haynesworth now. What the **** does his skin color have to do with how well he plays. Keep those kinds of ignorant thoughts to yourself.
