TheLongshot
I guess he'd be better than most 5th round picks and is still young, but I hate that nothing seems to be changing as far as the draft goes. Why the hell should you have a draft party if you have no draft?
Brandon Lloyd Christmas
just to be clear, the 5th rounder doesnt seem set in stone. schefter is saying he doesnt know what we are trading. Per his twitter: Rams traded former first-round pick Adam Carricker to Redskins. Still awaiting word on what the Rams get in return.
#1njskinsfan
Al and Carriker would play end in a 3-4. Sounds fine to me. This gives us a complete 3-4 defensive line. and the big samoan (sp) in the middle if he achillies holds up
brianforster
Funniest part about this trade was how many people wanted us to draft this guy

twobags95
5th Rd pick for a starter. I'll take it.
jasjhughes
Interesting. This could end up being the shortest draft for a team in history. Well, our new DC drafted him in the first, so he must like what he brings to the table for his system. Hail. that would be Ditka's

Why the hell should you have a draft party if you have no draft? Well like you said, Carriker is still young and what are you going to find in the 5th round anyway? Skins199021
Some of you are putting way too much into draft picks now, especially one so late Second there is a different in trading a 3rd and a 4th for loyld, and a 3rd and 4th for Duckett as compared to a 5th for Carriker who is what 24, 25? and trading a 2nd and a 4th in the draft later for Mcnabb I cant see a logical reason to get mad at trading a 5th for carriker and there is no reason to just trade rocky for the sake of getting picks, campbell and carter Ok but not rocky, you trade him if it benefits us
Passizle
Great! Fifth round pick for a bust. Was Cerrato really fired?
brianforster
Also remember that the depth of this draft would suggest that 4 picks into the next round is almost as good as the previous round. So this is more like a late 4th in previous drafts.
Dro89
damn how many DT do we have now?
#1njskinsfan
I really don't give two flying turds if the Redskins trade a fifth round pick or not. What are they going to use it on? some linebacker who never plays or a defensive tackle they'll cut next season? quit whining!! we could get.... dallas surtz jordan palmer ect...
