Yeah - the way I do those is show a smaller image, but make it clickable so you get a pop up of the hi-res pic. (you could also just put a hi res link under the pic, but that's not as cool) Here's a pic of Peter Fechter, seriously wounded after he was gunned down by East German guards trying to escape from East to West Berlin in 1962.
