Summary:The Bengals will be very active this draft for a few reasons...#1)Marvin Lewis is on the hotseat to get this Bengals team back into the Playoff race with a team that already has a franchise QB and team with talent.#2)Chad Johnson is disgruntled and wants out of Cincy...They could have got two #1's from Washington last year when they had the chance.Unfortunately;Chad will not draw that kind of value with a subpar season with around 500 yards and a mediocre season.Chad is also on the wrong side of 30 to demand much in value right now as well. However,The Eagles will offer their earliest 1 of 2 first rounders(#21) and a 5th rounder(#159) for Ocho Cinco services to go with Desean jackson. http://www.bleedinggreennation.com/2009/4/8/827048/report-eagles-interested-in-chad This allows Cincy to move up in the draft and trade with the Lions to take the best WR in the draft in Crabtree. With Who'syourdaddy gone to Seattle and Chad gone as well, this leaves Cincy with L. Coles who's also on the wrong side of 30 as their #1.They desperately need an immediate playmaker in Crabtree for palmer and the Offense to move.Yes,they did draft Andre Caldwell in the 3rd last season and they still have Chris Henry, but neither possess the skillset of a Michael Crabtree. With all teams ahead of them with the exception of Detroit who could possibly pick this stud, they have to make this move...cause Crabtree won't be there at #6!

#2)Rams=Jason Smith OT Baylor:

Summary:The Rams are in desparate need of a dominate LT.Orlando Pace is now with the bears, which leaves Alex Barron as their best tackle.Jason Smith is the best tackle on the board and will solidify that spot for years and hopefully the same way Pace did. With Bulger and Kyle Boller at QB,it's safe to say they aren't taking a QB and even with the loss of Torry Holt...they still have Donny Avery and they just traded for Laurent Robinson the other day as well. They will go WR in the draft, but not here and not this high.As you see though...this is the exact reason the Bengals make the move they did cause it's not unforseeable for the rams to take a stab at Crabtree at the 2nd spot, but with Bulger getting smashed everytime he drops back...This might be the easiest mock pick for anyone to make...Not even myself can screw this one up...lol.They do need to improve their defense, but the trenches are important right now and Steve Spagnuolo will make the smart choice.

#3)Chiefs=BJ Raji DT Boston College:

Summary:MANY people have OLB Aaron Curry going here, but I disagree and here's why.#1)The Chiefs already have Mike Vrabel, Derrick Johnson, Monty Beisel and Demorrio Williams at LB.Sure they could add him as he is a monster, but it's not the dire need that mock specialists make it out to be.#2)What they do need,is a Player that can play in the newly 3-4 defense under GM Spioli and HC Todd Haley. As a matter a fact...the first pick Spioli ever made was DT Richard Seymor and BJ could play NT or DE in that role. They have moved glen Dorsey to the DE role even though he can play DT,they have Tamba Hali at the other DE spot who is very good, but they don't really have a dominate 3rd guy for the 3-4.They do have DE Alfonso Boone and DT Tank Tyler, but these two guys are spot fillers for sure. Can you imagine having BJ Raji,Dorsey and Tamba Hali as your front 3,with Dorsey and Raji being able to rotate from DE to DT at any time?Wow and this is exactly what I think Spioli is thinking as well.

#4)Seahawks=Aaron Curry LB Wake Forest:

Summary:You know how you have your team in the draft that can change and turn the draft upside down with a wacky pick? This is it!Nobody really knows who the seahawks will pick really...They don't really need a franchise QB with Hasslebeck and Seneca Wallace and I think their O-line is better than talked about,Their WR's are solid with Houshmandzadeh,Branch and Nate Burleson. However;when you look at their LB crew, you see the stud ILB Lofa Tatupu and then no-namers all across the board.Curry would fill a big need imo at OLB and take a little pressure off of Tatupa from doing everything. This would make this Seattle defense that much better and make Jim Mora's job a whole lot easier in an already weak NFC West.Plus,Seattle had alot of problems last season stopping Hightower and Edgerrin james, which made it that much easier for Warner and their passing attack.Curry would made the LB unit stronger and allow seattle to concentrate on stopping teams in the air.

#5)Browns=Brian Orakpo DE Texas:

Summary:They really like BJ Raji at this spot with Sean Rogers talking trade, but Orakpo would give them talent at the DE spot which they just don't have right now...They are in no position to trade up even though they carry two 2nd rounders and they really can't afford to trade down because of the drop off on talent that would ensue. With having to face Big Ben,Palmer and now Flacco twice a season, the Browns really need to put as much pressure on the Qb as they can because their secondary is terrible and unfortunately...this is just too high for Malcolm jenkins right now.If they do manage a trade down...Malcolm Jenkins is a no-brainer!If they can manage to settle Rogers down from trade talks, they could actually have a pretty good pass rush with the addition of Orakpo and when you look at their secondary...their gonna need it.

#6)Lions=Matthew Stafford QB Georgia: (Trade w/Bengals on 1st round swap)

Summary:The Lions make out like a bandit in this Draft. Not only are they able to trade down with Cincy, but still get their man to boot! One reason they are able and go forward with the trade is having Sanchez high on their board as well. They also have another 1st rounder @#20,so this puts Josh Freeman into play too. However, when you go 0-16...it probably doesn't hurt to try to trade down and gather picks, specially when you can pay your QB at the 6th spot with Salary rather at the #1 pick with the NFL Draft pay scale.Either way,the Lions have a ton of options, but trading down 5 spots and picking up a Franchise QB is hard to pass up and the Lions won't pass it up.Stafford is a little more NFL ready than Sanchez and they would like to have someone more NFL ready than having to develop one on the sidelines.Yes,they do have Daunte Culpepper, but they would like to start their Franchise with the Rookie and possibly emmulate the ravens and Falcons of last season.I mean...can you really do worse than 0-16?

#7)Raiders=Andre Smith OT Alabama:

Summary:Al Davis loves his big name players when he can get his hands on them and he finds one.Not only is Andre Smith arguably the best O-lineman in the draft, but has had some controversial isues leading up to the draft. This however doesn't change the fact that the raiders need some talent on the O-line.It was smart to move Robert gallery to guard, but now they have left the OT spot vacant for somebody....anybody to fill that void.I mean...when your starting OT's are Khalif Barnes and Mario Henderson T,then I'm thinking Andre Smith looks pretty good here.Having Jemarcus Russell getting pounded and now newly signed Jeff garcia ready an waiting,it's probably a good idea to protect your investments.Maybe Andre can be motivated enough to show Gallery what a high 1st round Offensive Tackle is supposed to play like?If he does, they will be solid there for a long time.

Originally posted by

#8)Jaguars=Jeremy Maclin WR Missouri:

Summary:The Jags would like to add a little more talent at the WR position. They have a solid running game, but would like to depend on more than Troy Williamson and Dennis northcut in making plays.Maclin's size ,speed and ability to return kicks give the Jags quite a few options there. They would like to spread the ball around a bit better to give Gerrard and Maurice Jones-Drew some space.Maclin will allow them to do so,plus help out Gerrard in the passing game. They very well could go with CB Malcolm Jenkins here, but the WR class is not as deep as they would like and will be forced to make this pick with it being a somewhat need and a good pick for not having to have Maclin step in immediately, but perhaps get involved gradually.Maclin will also give them the trick plays that he ran so well at Missouri.

#9)Jets=Mark Sanchez QB USC: (Trade/The Jets/Packers swap 1st round picks #9 & #17 picks with the packers,as well as trade their 2nd rounder(#52) 09' and 2nd rounder in the 2010 draft for the packers 09' 3rd rounder(#83)

Summary:The jets have to make this move and they do!With the Niners,Broncos and Skins all up before they pick (and those involved in the Cutler trade) they have to make a move on Sanchez. They don't want to have to settle for Josh Freeman, when they really have their interest in sanchez.http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/articles/show/2893-qbs-stafford-sanchez-are-best-in-class?rss_category=all&rss_article_id=2893-qbs-stafford-sanchez-are-best-in-class They feel the interest in Sanchez league wide is too much for them to pass through 3 teams in need of and interested in a QB.This may play in the Redskins hands afterall and have done exactly what they wanted...which was to make a team trade up for sanchez and leave them players of need on the board. But the jets get what they need after 1 year of service from Brett favre, but they didn't want to go into the season with kellon Clemons as the answer either. This helps the packers get an extra 2nd rounder this draft and next years, while still having their other 3rd rounder. The Jets get to move up,while only moving back from the 2nd to the 3rd this draft and getting their guy.

Originally posted by

#10)49ers=Knowshon Moreno RB Georgia:

Summary:The niners lose out on Sanchez if that's who they were targeting, but they land their 2-headed monster in Moreno.Frank Gore gives them a bruising tough back that is best utylized between the tackles and Moreno gives them a change of pace back than can stretch the field.Coach Singletary remembers what it was like having a RB that could do it all as he played with the best and he feels Moreno gives him this option.Moreno is also going to be a better fit in the passing game than Frank Gore and he will be able to take the load off of Gore as well.In this day and age,you need a runningback that can spell the other and Moreno will do just that for the Niners. There are slim pickings in the RB area with the exception of Chris "Beanie" Wells, but Beanie is an identical runner as Frank Gore and they need a mix up at that position.

Originally posted by

#11)Bills=Eugene Monroe OT Virginia:

Summary:The Bills truly need help at OT this draft. Not only did they not re-sign their Guard Derrick Dockery and let him walk because of salary reasons weakening their line,it is rumored that their stud Tackle Jason Peters has been in trade talks.I can't tell you that they will deal Peters, but I can tell you that no matter what...they will make a play for Monroe at #11 here.Their best Tackle up to this point is Langston Walker and they would like to upgrade from that if they can. With still having 3 top OT's on the board here (Monroe,Oher and britton),they cannot pass up a chance to upgrade their line and give Trent Edwards some more time in the pocket. It's a safe play and Monroe just simply will be higher on their board here.

Originally posted by

#12)Broncos=Everette Brown DE Florida State:

Summary:The Broncos can't pass up a top 10 caliber player in Brown in a desparate position of need here. They had one of the worst defenses in the NFL last season and could not get to the QB to take pressure off their good secondary. At just at 6'2" and around 260,Brown will be used as a pass rusher and probably slotted in as a rush linebacker, unless asked to add some weight. But Brown is certainly perfect for the 3-4 scheme that Josh McDaniels wants and will thrive on a team based with speed on both sides of the ball.

#13)Patriots=Malcolm Jenkins CB Ohio State: (Trade/Redskins/Patriots will flip flop 1st rounders here with #13 and #23 and the Patriots will send their 2nd rounder(#58) in the 09' draft, their 4th rounder(#124) and 6th rounder as well(#199)

Summary:Although the patriots signed newly Free Agent Shawn Springs, they would be crazy to rely on his services for 2 reasons...#1)Springs is no spring chicken anymore at 34 and #2)They would be happy if they get 1/2 a season out of the often injured Springs. Now they do have Ellis Hobbs but after that,it's starts to resemble their secondary for the last couple seasons. They got a little errogant when they released Randell Gay to the Saints and figured their Pass Rush and scheme would nullify this weakness. They will not take those chances anymore and will take the #1 CB on the board here. They can do this since the patriots have 6 draft picks in the 1st 3 rounds. Some may question the Redskins strategy by trading down with Michael Oher still on the board and their need for an OT,but the Redskins weren't kidding around when they were involved in the Jay Cutler sweepstakes and wanting to ship Jason campbell and by getting a deal done with the Texans, this allows the Redskins to move back and gather picks with their measily 5 total draft picks, without losing too much ground from where they were.

#14)Saints=Rey Maualuga ILB USC:

Summary:The Saints would have liked to take Malcolm Jenkins here, but the Patriots aggressiveness pays off...When you look at the saints Roster, you have to wonder why they they aren't guarenteed Playoff contenders every year, but that's why they play the game. There is no major hole anywhere on their roster, but they do have some areas where they can upgrade to be better.ILB happens to be one of them and Maulaluga is there pick here. They already have a solid LB unit in Scott Fujita,Dan Morgan,Mark Simoneau and of course Jonathan Vilma, but they feel Maualuga would be an upgrade over Mark Simoneau and can at least use a rotation there. Now Dan Morgan has had concussion problems,so Brian Cushing is also a possibility...but they feel Rey maualuga is the safer pick here with the Steroid rumors on Cushing.

#15)Redskins=Michael Oher OT Mississippi: (Trade/The Texans/Redskins will trade former Auburn alumn Jason Campbell and Carlos Rogers to the Texans for their #15th pick here. The Redskins will also recieve an additional 4th rounder(#112) in the 09' draft in addition and a 5th rounder in the 2010 draft.)

Summary:The Redskins are able to trade out of the 13th pick and still get their man and accumilate draft picks in the process. The Redskins are in dire need to get younger at the Offensive tackle position with both Janson and Samuels over 30 years of age. They have had problems as well staying healthy and with Jason Campbell gone, the Skins don't want to put their new QB in the same situation.Oher will fit right in and replace Janson on day 1 at RT,while having a veteran of Janson's experience in a good backup role. The Redskins are still looking at LB,QB and DE in this draft, but with a guy of Oher's talent still on the board...the Redskins would be foolish to pass on this with Eben britton as the only really good OT left that is worthy of a 1st round grade. The Redskins also get to sit back and see who falls to #23 in hopes that a player of need and talent is sitting there.

#16)Chargers=Tyson Jackson DE LSU:

Summary:The Chargers will be looking at OLB Brian Cushing and DE Tyson Jackson here, but I believe they pull the trigger on Jackson.Although they have Marriman at OLB,they would like to give him some help...but the loss of Igor Olshansky to Dallas is what makes this deal done.Jackson has good size at 6'5" 292 and would fit the 3-4 nicely. His impresssive wingspan will create problems for Offensive Line and they would like to get more pass rushing production without giving up the running defensive gameplan the chargers love so much.Tyson Jackson offers this in bundles and won't take long to find himself in the starters rotation.

#17)Packers=Chris "Beanie" Wells RB Ohio State: (Jets/Packers Trade)

Summary:The Packers would like to continue the tradition of running with the horses, but the problem is...they don't have them. With the exception of RB brandon jackson as being a 2nd rounder in 07',the packers have late round or undrafted RB's on the team. Now yes,Ryan Grant is a baller, but the guy came out of knowhere and the Packers would like a little bit better insurance than hoping Grant is a consistent runner. They also have DeShawn Wynn who is a 7th rounder and he also came out of knowhere, but Chris Wells will allow the Packers to use more running back sets including the rare 3 back wishbone set that maybe you have seen the packers run before. His tough running style is exactly what the packers want in the blizzard of cold weather their players play in year in and year out. With teams more and more going to a Running back by committee, this is a good choice to have some spare tires for the black and blue NFC North.

Originally posted by

#18)Broncos=Eben Britton OT Arizona:

Summary:The Broncos will be looking to improve their tackle spot this year.Yes,they have Ryan Clady who they selected last year with the 12th pick, but they are not satisfied with what they have on the other side(Ryan Harris,Clint Oldenburg and Tyler Polumbus).Jay Cutler was sacked quite a bit last season and they will want to improve their pass protection for Josh McDaniels new QB whoever that may be.Obviously Simms and Orton don't have the overall talent as Cutler, but they believe if they scheme right, they don't need a QB with a gunslining arm.To do that, they will need the best protection they can get and Eben Brittion is a very good pass protector coming out of Arizona and he's the last one left on the board if they plan on significantly upgrading that spot immediately.By having two first round draft picks from the Cutler trade, this allows them to do so with a luxary pick here.

Originally posted by

#19)Buccanears=Brian Cushing OLB43 USC:

Summary:Either the roid rumor made Cushing slip or it was just destiny for the Bucs, but the Bucs get what they needed and at great value. The Bucs created a good size hole after cutting Derrick Brooks and Cato June and needed to replace that with not only youth, but talent as well and they do.Cushing has a good motor and a nose for the ball and his aggressiveness will fit right in with the Bucs defense. The Bucs are known for an aggressive and attacking defense and they can't afford to let Cushing slip past them and they won't if they can help it.

Originally posted by

#20)Lions=James Laurinaitis ILB Ohio State:

Summary:The Lions don't get the 1 of the top 4 Offensive lineman here as they will be gone, but they know they can possible get a few in the later rounds. What they do know is James Laurinaitis is sitting on the board for them here. They have Ernie Sims and signed 30 year old Julian Peterson for their OLB spots, but they really need someone in the inside cause Chris Graham and Cody Spencer isn't going to cut it.Although James Laurinaitis isn't the fastest Linebacker in the world,he is the consumate ILB with his tackling and run stuffing abilities and we all know...the Lions can use anything for defense to stop being the Swiss Cheese of the NFC North.James Laurinaitis will significantly improve their defense and maybe one day,we can say the Lions have a good defense.

Originally posted by

#21)Bengals=Peria Jerry DT Mississippi: (Bengals/Eagles Chad Johnson Trade)

Summary:Although the Bengals just signed Tank Johnson from Dallas, the Bengals still want more help along the interior. They feel comfortable along the DE area with Antwan Odom and gang, but they won't put all theirs eggs in Tanks Basket.Peria Jerry will not only give them depth along the lines, but since the Bengals run the 4-3...he could possible find himself in the rotation early and even hammer down a spot for good. They need all the help they can to beef up the middle with the Steelers,Ravens and Browns running game. They can pass all day for points, but until they can force teams to pass on them and become one dimensional instead of allowing teams to put games away on them...they will continue to struggle making the Playoffs.

Originally posted by

#22)Vikings=Percy Harvin WR Florida:

Summary:The 09' draft isn't as deep at WR like it has been in recent past, but the Vikings get good value with a player of very good talent and great need. They no longer have Nate Burrelson and even though they do have a talented Bernard Berrian,he's not exceptionally fast. They are still waiting for Sydney Rice to break out and become the 2nd rounder they had hoped for,so they go for a player they believe will give this offense a spark in a Percy Harvin.Although some may wish for them to take Josh Freeman here,I don't believe they will with newly aquired Sage Rosenfels and they still have T. Jackson...so they will wait to find one in the middle rounds. What they do need immediately is someone who can open up the field and take a little pressure off of stud RB Adrian Peterson and make teams respect their passing game.If you are not gonna have a Franchise QB throwing the ball, you better have excellent recievers to make your QB better than he is and that's exactly what Percy Harvin can do for you.

#23)Lions=Clay Matthews OLB USC(Trade/(Redskins/Pats)-- Redskins trade down with Lions and give the Lions this spot as the Redskins swap down to the #33 pick in 2nd round and also get the lions 3rd round pick#82)

Summary: The Redskins have already aquired a 2nd rounder(#58) a 4th rounder(#124) and 6th rounder as well(#199) from the Patriots in the 09' draft and a 4th rounder from the Texans this draft. They will trade down once again to gather a 3rd rounder this draft from the Lions who wish to move up and build their Linebacker unit.As mentioned above...Julian Peterson is aging yet still good and Darnel Bing is a former Safety moved to Linebacker. After drafting James Laurinaitis for the middle at ILB from Ohio ST,the Lions decide to trade up and take the stud OLB in Clay Mathews from USC.They can't afford to sit on their thumbs and take the waste that gets thrown to them in the second and later rounds and since they were able to trade down from #1 with the Bengals and gather picks, they feel shipping their 3rd to Washington to move up 10 spots is well worth it.New Head Coach Jim Schwartz does not want to take any chances with this team and wants to load up on talent as soon as possible. He knows that a team that previously went 0-16,that he wants the talent to fill whatever holes and depth necessary to field a competitive team and to do that...Defense is a very good place to start.

#24)Falcons=Darrius Heyward-Bey WR Maryland:

Summary:The Falcons will be looking to give Matt Ryans some more targets to make his job easier.Although they have some decent WR's in Michael Jenkins,Roddy White and Brian Finneran,2 of those 3 are tall lanky Plaxico type recievers who are used to to take advantage for over the top up for grabs type plays as Jenkins and Finneran are 6'4" and 6'5" respectively.White is a 6' speedy wr who can make the quick hit on plays. The Falcons are looking for a more balance type of WR with both Size and top speed and they will find that in Darrius Heyward-Bey.His 6'2" 208 lb frame will allow them to use his versatile speed and size for good routes and more careful throws for Ryan.He can be good for the long ball and for going over the middle...A bit more balance for this Offense.Plus..lets not forget that Finneran is going on 34 years old and the other 2 are 27,so youth will play a part of this as well.

#25)Dolphins=Vontae Davis CB Illinois:

Summary:Parcells will be looking to fix the once very good D-back CB tandom in Sam Madison and Patrick Surtain. Now they have Will Allen and well...that's about it.Parcells truly has a rebuilding job to do as he wants his players and he will get one he likes in CB Vontae Davis to help out the secondary. The draft is very thin at the top in CB's,but Vontae is a sure fire of talent that the Dolphins need in a bad way and will take. When you have to face the patriots twice a season, you better have good D-backs not to mention the improvement of the Bills as well.I am sure the jets will be looking to sling the ball as well whenever they find a QB.It's better to be prepared and have the talent on the outside than to hope for the best.

Originally posted by

#26)Ravens=Aaron Maybin OLB Penn State:

Summary:The once DE from penn ST. will fit perfectly in the Ravens Defense. He will be moved to outside LB as he is too undersized to play DE,but will fill a void the ravens need to continue defensive dominance.Ray lewis is on his last legs and will continue to be the team 's captain, even though he isn't the same player he once as.They no longer have Bart Scott and they franchised terrell Suggs and he could be gone in a year if he doesn't re-sign next year. This is the perfect time to prepare for players who are getting older and you could lose, by picking up a very good talent in Aaron Maybin.Maybin could be Ray Lewis's replacement when he retires as maybin has the size to play both inside and outside linebacker and this could be very soon.

#27)Colts=Hakeem Nicks WR North Carolina:

Summary:When the Colts are at their best is when you have 3 WR's to defend against the General in Peyton Manning and they no longer have that. With the release of Marvin Harrison, they are now left with 30 year old reggie Wayne and 2007 1st rounder in Anthony Gonzalas. This will not be enough if the Patriots plan on getting back into top form.Manning isn't getting any younger and would love to get one more ring before he is done and to do that, they need to improve their WR core. They can do that with North Carolina's Hakeem Nicks who would fit right in with the Colt's passing attack.Their running game is set with Mike Harts and Joseph Addai, but unlesss they can give Manning a little more help and to take the pressure off of their defense, they will be struggling to be top dog in the AFC South as the Titans and Jags are becoming much better and catching them quickly.

#28)Eagles=Donald Brown RB Connecticut:

Summary:The Eagles reached hard when they took Kolb in the 2nd round in the 07 draft and they will do so again. Not because they are dumb, but because they really want to get a RB that can spell their Brian Westbrook. They used their other 1st to aquire Ocho Cinco and now they want to be more prepared if Westbrook were to go down with another injury. The good news is Brown will fit Reids offfense very well and should help take a load off of McNabb as will Chad Johnson too.The bad news is they are unwilling to wait for RB LeSean McCoy out of Pittsburgh in the second round,so they make this move for insurance purposes...yet passing on a much needed TE Brandon Pettigrew to replace the loss of L.J. Smith.

#29)Giants=Brandon Pettigrew TE Oklahoma St:

Summary:The Giants get exactly who they are targeting here and very suprised to see him on the board. The Giants do have Kevin Boss and he filled in nicely over Shockey in their SuperBowl run,but with no worthy 1st round reciever on the board here, the giants could help Eli with a good addition at TE in Brandon Pettigrew. It never hurts to have 2 very good TE's in the NFL today and the way the ball is being spread around, this will at least help in the loss of Plaxico in the big target area and allow the Giants to look for a reciever in the later rounds without panic.Brandon Pettigrew is much more athletic than boss and this will allow the giants to use Boss in more blocking formations and use Brandon's quickness to their advantage.

#30)Titans=Michael Johnson DE/OLB Georgia Tech:

Summary:The Titans need help at either OLB or DE and picking Michael Johnson will certainly help them help.Johnson is a freak of stature at 6'7" 260 lbs and will give the Titans a very talented but raw player.Javon Kearse apparently is only good when playing for the Titans, but even he is almost 33.So with having Kyle Vanden Bosch on the other side, the Titans may choose to play Johnson at OLB...but may use him as a hybrid for both DE and OLB spots depending on the packages.Johnson will certainly help a team recover from losing the best defensive player at DT if not the whole league in Albert Haynesworth. So the Titans can get a little punch-drunk in love with a very beastly physical freak at this spot.

#31)Cardinals=Max Unger OG Oregon:

Summary:The Cardinals are so stunned at picking at #31,they might just run out of NFL clock and forget to pick here...but assuming they do,I believe they go Offensive Guard here with Max Unger. He's the only Guard that would go in the 1st and I believe the Cardinals will take him to build that Offensive line for Warners final year or two and eventually their new QB,be it Leinart or someone else. What got the Cardinals in the SuperBowl for one thing was intellegent drafting and good coaching and they will continue this good strategy with a Guard that will help their Offensive Guard spot.Their guards aren't necessarily pro-bowlers with Elton Brown,Deuce Lutui and Reggie Wells,so I believe Max Unger will solidify and make a young good line even better.

#32)Steelers=Evander Hood DT Missouri:

Summary:The Steelers do have both Casey Hampton and Chris Hoke at DT's,but both are over 30 with Hoke nearing 34 years old.I see the Steelers looking for Paxsons replacement and I believe Hood is just the guy.It never hurts to have good depth here at NT in the 3-4 and Hood's strength is impresive, plus he's also a "best available" here...which make this pick a very good choice for Pittsburgh.Ron Brace is the only other DT that the Steelers could pick here before waiting on mid 3rd and 4th round valued DT's,with the exception to Fili Moala out of USC.However, the Steelers love Hood's work ethic and we know that Mike Tomlin demands this in his group.

i applaud anyone for going through the trouble to do all this, but i must say there are never this many trades. not to mention i doubt the skins would trade their season just to get oher, while giving up their starting qb and corner leaving smoot to start, and who knows at QB

Only a few problems with this. Id rather draft Herman Johnson over Duke Robinson.

Richard jenings or WR massaqiou. Coffee is till on the board and you take RB from liberty over him? Everything was okay though.

Wow. I like that we picked up more picks. I'm not sure I like the risk of trading away our starter because we're hoping that Josh Freeman is available in the 2nd. Some mocks have Freeman going in the middle of the 1st. I think that's way too risky unless the FO thinks Colt Brennan is definitely the guy.

Well I really dont think Josh Freeman is going in the first at all. Second is most defenitly the best spot were he will land. No team needs a QB that bad after the top 10 picks. The face that we drafted 2 lineman for the right side of the line was pretty good. Taking the RB out of Liberty over Coffee from Alabama was real questionable. But instead of trading Campbell in the first we should have traded portis instead. A new RB for this team would be better in the long run.

That'd be nuts. Campbell and Rogers would be RFAs so they could get 2 1st rounders for 2 years for sure and 3 out of one (with franchise tag). Texans might be up for it. I'd bet campbell would light it up with Johnson in Texas. He's disgusting.

Instead of Freeman, I'd prefer Mack or Sintim. We could also bring leftwich in and he and colt could compete in camp. Otherwise great thread, took a good amount of time I bet. We could rebuild our whole team with this. God with the small suggestions I've made, I sure hope reality plays out like this.

Holy ****! You didn't just quote the entire text did you?:laugh:

Happy Easter Mods! Thank the Lord we didn't do some big trade or resigning over the weekend. Between that and this guy, you'd miss Easter brunch ;)

Interesting...

The number of Redskin's trade downs do not bother me so much as the selections made therein :D

I do not see how the Chief's pass on the best player and only sure thing in the entire draft with Curry.

I think the Bengals would be just as happy with Macklin, Harvin or Bey.

I don't think the Patriots trade up for Jenkins.
