One season he led the league in passing, defensive interceptions and punting. When discussing the 'greatest that ever played', Maynard says he always asks, "how was he on defense? how was his punting?" The last QB I can remember that went double duty was George Blanda. When Flutie made that drop kick it brought back memories of the way the game used to be. Slingin' Sammy, without a doubt one of the best to ever play. This is why the tradition of rookies going to the HOF is a great thing.
