Floyd's fighting style is the opposite of his pre-match hype persona. Floyd is a quiet fighter. He's very calculating and works more with counter assaults. He'll look like he's always on the defensive but that's just until the opponent gets close enough to attack with just the right punch combo. Manny will have to figure a way around that. He can be aggressive, very aggressive. That kind of fighting style plays right into Floyd's style. I also give Floyd the edge, but it'll still be completely awesome to see.

I'm shocked Cotto lasted this long, but I guess anybody can last through rounds by running around the ring like he is. Crowd is booing him for his running.

Manny has spent the last couple of rounds chasing Cotto around the ring. He's on the run but I wonder how long Manny can keep up this kind of intensity. All it can take is one mistake to get knocked down... or knocked out.

does it seem like manny is pulling up his shorts a lot? At first I thought it was to show off a little bit but he's been doing it a lot. Even between punches I've noticed him reaching to pull it up.

from what I've seen so far I think Cotto is doing a good job dealing with manny's speed... and boy is he fast. Manny needs to find a way inside to land meaningful punches.

I agree with the strategy, but what I was saying is that it looks like Mayweather isn't using his normal counter-punch strategy. He looks fierce and aggressive. It's very exciting but I think it's a bit risky. I wonder if he'll rely on the attack this much in the fight against Manny (if there is one).

mayweather is a lot more agressive than I remember in previous fights. I always thought he was a counter-puncher
