Dheavy
I guess the screen pass will be a huge part of Zorn's play calls when we play the Eagles. Can we keep the offense playing at a high level?
TheDiplomat
Yeah Jim Johnson's going to bring the heat. I'd think that Campbell would audible to the WR screen or Cooley to a seam route if he senses pressure.
Heisenberg
Campbell and the line seemed to handle it pretty well last year there in Philly so hopefully this improved version of the offense will adjust and will continue to put points on the scoreboard. HEavyJumbo85
short quick passes, screens, and you max protect when you want to throw deep. The playaction will also be key, so you have to establish the run.
BuddyLeeGhostHunter
Doesn't the WC offense benefit by being blitzed so much. I may be wrong here but I think getting the ball out on quick short routes would be a benefit here.
Genghis Khan
I think the injury to Willie Parker had a lot to do with all the sacks as they weren't running the ball and just kept trying to pass.
BigRay
They should take a page from the Bears last night they use a lot of no huddle it pretty much kept their base defense in there .

ArmchairRedskin
Swing passes, screens, hot reads, draw plays. Stuff like that.
emor09
i dont say this too often, but the 1st offensive play i would go PA deep to Moss and set a tone
Gregpeck99
Go to a 2-TE array from the Shotgun ... then hit quick passes over the middle behind the backers. Works all the time.
TheItalianStallion
We need to get CP & LB involved in the passing game.
OVCChairman
Portis is ALWAYS going to be a factor in every victory. Even if he doesnt have stats... getting the attention him is KEY! He's also going to be a big part of keeping Campbell off his butt. Make sure he's back there blocking, because he obviously can bring the noise and put his shoulder into any players chest, LB or D-Line.
HigSkin
Jaws was showing Big Ben getting pummeled during the Philly game last week. It's interesting how they line-up 8 yet often only bring 5-6. The problem with it is that you never know who's pulling out and which side it's coming from. I agree with people above about quick passes, draws, screens, etc.

S.T.real,lights,out
If we can run on Dallas's big D we should be able to run on them.
[[ghost]]
Last year, Samuels tried to bite a lot on the shorter routes. And in a blitz happy defense, you'd think that he would try it again. Hopefully, Zorn is anticipating that.
NoCalMike
What you do is you use the defenses over-aggressiveness against them. You design plays to allow a 5th and even 6th defender to come rushing in, and then you short a quick slant to Moss. With the linebackers blitzing, Moss has one guy to beat and then he has about 20-30 yards of open field to run. Also, Cooley will burn the blitz with the play where he blocks for a second or two then releases and runs out on a pattern. The Cowboys blitzed a lot, and Jim Zorn used their aggressiveness against them.

A DOUBLE MOVE!!!! but they were talkin bout samuels and how he is amazing at stopping on a dime and driving off his back foot, hes the best at it. maskedsuperstar
Spread the defense out. Throw to what ever side the Eagles blitz. Screen passes will be key. The main thing is to keep the Eagles defense guessing. Pass the ball to set up the run. Play with intensity.
Walking Deadman
Betts and Portis should get alot of passes this week.
Major Harris
the bottom line is blitz pick up. that will probably determine our success. zorn can play call a certain way, with many of the things mentioned in this thread. but if we don't pick up the blitz, it'll be a long day. i do think we gameplan similar to what we did against dallas, in that the pass is going to have to set up the run. Destino
Our offense hasn't changed based on the defense we've played. We have to come in, ignore their plans, and impose our own. Great teams set the tone on both sides of the ball. Treat them like we did the Cowboys "massive" defense... push them over and leave them scrambling for answers at half time. COWBOY-KILLA-
He will attack it, attack it, and attack it. Wouldn't be surprised if after trying to rattle JC early they back off after being burnt by the run or the pass. The eagles can be pushed around and scored on. They can get to the QB, but there not as stout as many believe. We can score on them and win this game.
