Hogie
I didn't see if anyone else noticed this but last night Suisham's 48 yard FG looked like it would have been good from about 80. It was a rocket. I realize he hit the upright last week but that was from 47. I don't want to say most of the time, but a lot of the time good kickers bounce around the league in their first few seasons before latching on with one team and having a successful run. David Akers would be one  Who knows, maybe for once we can luck out with a kicker and not have to go through the revolving door thing. Suisham is only 25. Maybe he's going to hit his stride now and be a consistent kicker who's capable of making 50+ yarders every now and then for years here. :logo:
CurseReversed
I agree, amongst all the talk about offense and defense it is often lost how vital a good kicker is to a teams success. One missed kick can make or break a season. I have high hopes for suisham and expect him to do well this year. But then again with our luck...who knows. chipwhich
He wasn't looking that strong in warm ups. just barely squeaking in from that distance.
Kurd Cudins
The one you mentioned that hit the upright last week looked like it would have been good from 75. It hit a few feet from the top and those things are 30 feet off the ground.
terpfan
The dude certainly has a leg. I was so pissed at the offense for screwing up his chance for a game winner last night. I would have liked to see how he handled that.
Dan T.
I think we're set at both kicking positions. Frost has been outstanding so far, and Suisham has been steady. Thanks for the patience of the coaching staff for sticking with these guys when outsiders were calling for them to be cut last year.
isle-hawg
He did well last night, I looks like we have finally stopped the revolving door of kickers. And what is even better is both Frost and Susiam are young.
RFK Lives
One thing for sure, he looks better than John Hall ever did for us. Frost's first punt was nothing to write home about but he leveled off. Don't forget how critical it is to get the kickoffs deep without your leg "getting tired" and not needing two roster spots for a kickoff specialist and field goal kicker. skinpride1
Where are all the guys at that wanted to get rid of him because of the miss last week? Give the guy a chance to prove himself!!!
skinsfan07
Swwwwish em has a boot! He nailed a 52 yarder for us last year. He's solid and his kickoffs are good too. And Frosty Flakes has been stellar.
edgun88
With all the negatives that happened the last two weeks, I am so glad that our special teams is finally going to be reliable. I mean FROST is SICK! He was making 60 yard punts like it was nothing. And Suisham is reliable too, it looks like anyway so thats awesome.
Hogie
Frost is sick....when there's no pressure! Let's see how he does in the 4th quarter of tight games. I still have no confidence in him. It will take a long time for me to get that shank job at Tampa in the playoffs out of my head.

panel
I like Frost, but I am not sold on Suisham yet, I still get nervous every time he kicks. I think a few are WAY over doing it with 75-80 distance. More like 55, but the accuracy looks shaky on some of his kicks too, he never seems to get in right down the middle. He is serviceable, and I think he can be good, but I want a kicker that can steal us games, and I don't think he can do that.
Taylor 21
Both our Kicker and Punter look really good. ESPECIALLY frost.

Would it have gone in from 75? No. Would it have travelled 75, yards? Yes. That's the kind of leg strength we haven't had for some time around here. It boggles my fragile little mind that some of you discount what he has done here. How is his accuracy "look" shaky? It either goes in or it doesn't, and since he has been here, our FG's have been consistently going in AND from distance to boot.
terpfan
Frost was pretty good all of last year. This shouldnt be that surprising.

Gart Monk
The weather conditions were perfect in both games for kickers so far but i am glad to see them doing well. Frost looks like a stud.
cphil006
suisham is our season long kicker in my mind. He impressed me a lot last season and has good leg power. He will be fine for us. Enough with the John Hall mistake. How can a kicker get injured that much!!??
Pedro
We have a kicker who can potentially put points on the board every time we get to the opposition 40. Don't underestimate how much this would help us win games. Let's give the guy time with our full support.
