WVUforREDSKINS
How you can like those comedians and not list George Carlin is beyond me. :applause: :applause: Carlin is not only the king of comedy, to me he is sort of a visonary and a philosopher. He has predicted things that have come true in recent years. All those people are great but Carlin is their god. Edit: except Lenny Bruce. I think it was Carlin who looked up to Lenny Bruce. Dat Dude88
I think Jim Gaffigan, the guy on those sierra mist commercials, is probably my favorite right now. His DVD "beyond the pale" is so hilarious. Im also a fan of mitch hedberg, george carlin, dave chapelle, and of course richard prior. What are some other favorites? PS: Dane Cook sucks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tw7xPaL56Ow Definitely Bruce Bruce.

StillUnknown
Chappelle (seen him live and you can tell that standup is what he's supposed to be doing) Chris Rock (his standups get better everytime) Richard Pryor (no explanation needed) Robin Harris (died right before he blew up, but he had a talent for it) George Carlin (i always laughing too hard not to put him on the list) probably some more i'm missin, but those are the ones who come to mind first. on another note: i cannot for the life of me understand why people think Dane Cook is funny. i've listened to his standups and i've only chuckled, not laugh, but chuckle once.
IONTOP
on another note: i cannot for the life of me understand why people think Dane Cook is funny. i've listened to his standups and i've only chuckled, not laugh, but chuckle once. I agree, although his first comedy central standup was funny to me because I didn't expect him to be all excited and entergetic... But all the ones after that have just been lame...
rincewind
Without reading the pre-bump posts to see if I already replied - Mitch Hedberg is far and away my favorite comedian of all-time. Recently, I've really been enjoying Mitch Fatel.
