elkabong82
For some reason, I have never found women comediennes to be that funny but I love Wanda Sykes.I loved Rodney, Pryor, Diceman, Sam Kinison, Old Seinfeld stuff is great. Speaking of Jim Gaffigan, he was on Conan about a month ago and nobody laughed. It was painful to watch. I mentioned it in an earlier post, but i agree. I don't find most women comics funny. That's because they all have the exact same style of humor, and it's always jokes that weren't funny unless you were there. A couple women comics that are really funny though: Lisa Lampanelli, Bea Arthur is great at the Roasts, Sarah Silverman (her show isn't all that great though). Kathy Griffin and Ellen DeGeneres can have their moments, but their both too annoying to watch for an extended amount of time.

IONTOP
I'm a Comedy Central Stand-Up whore... Some of the best I've seen on CCSU are: Amazing Jonathan Stephen Lynch Nick Swardson Taj Barker (I think that's his last name) Rich Voss Oh yeah, Dane Cooks new DVD from his HBO special has some funny moments but he just comes off as a Douche Bag for most of it. rincewind
Since my favorites have been mentioned (Hedberg, Murphy, and current favorite Dmetri Martin), I'll throw out two not yet mentioned: Steven Wright Zack Galifianakis Also - I'm glad to see so much hate being thrown Dane Cook's way, can't stand that guy. And, for a signing comedian, Stephen Lynch is funny as hell.
EersSkins05
George Carlin. By a lot. For the most part, I like my comedians good an angry. Bill Hicks, Sam Kineson, Lewis Black are other favorites.

Mufumonk
i loved dennis leary's "no cure for cancer." Do yourself a favor and watch Bill Hicks "Relentless". Not only will you laugh your ass off but you'll also get to see where Dennis Leary stole all of his material from. It's a shame Hicks died so young. I'd love to see his rants on the current state of the world. We just had a little discussion about Leary and Hicks in the Carlos Mencia thread: http://www.extremeskins.com/forums/showthread.php?t=190365&page=5&pp=15&highlight=Leary
McMetal
Hicks is GOD. Mitch Hedberg sits at his right hand. Cheech and Chong - just for championing drug humor, the funniest variety of humor, IMO.

macs-a-skins-fan
By far Jeff Dunham, the vantriliquist! He and his Dummies put on a fantastic show. roqnap1
I'm so glad not to see Mencia's name on here anywhere...I never got why he was deserving of his own show on Comedy Central...just not funny at all. The feud he's having now with Rogan is hilarous. I've seen a lot of the names mentioned live and I have to say that George Lopez was by far the funniest and most impressive. Chappelle was great as well. 45 minutes of material followed by 45 minutes of bull****ting with the audience. The advantage of seeing him in a small venue. mcterry7
I am a big fan of Jim Norton, Patrice O'Neale, Rich Voss, and Bill Burr. Dane Cook has his moments, but for the most part I am "meh" about him. The Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy comedy is hilarious as well.

Birdlives
Eddie Murphy was the best. George Carlin, Richard Pryor are also in his league. Chris Rock, Lewis Black, and Jim Gaffigan should get an honorable mention. Rodney Carrington has some funny stuff. For old school its really surprising how funny Lenny Bruce and of all people Woody Allen are.
