Hooper
How bout this? Mel Gibson was going to play the Nicholson role, but had to step aside because Apocalypto took too long to shoot. Same goes for Robert Deniro and the Good Shepard -- it got delayed and Martin Sheen stepped in for him. And Dennis Leary was going to be in it too -- Wahlberg's role I believe -- but couldn't make it work with his Rescue Me schedule.

Mufumonk
The Thin Red Line...Sean Penn John Travolta Nick Nolte John Cusak Woody Harrelson George Clooney James Caviezel John Savage ( very annoying character in the though in the movie) Thomas Jane Travolta, Harrelson, and Clooney were all in the film for a combined 5 minutes it seemed. This was also one of the most boring flicks I have ever seen. I love an artistic, intelligent flick full of symbolism when I have somewhat of an idea that's what I'm getting myself into when watching a movie. But this was billed as an epic war flick with a star studded cast. And it was anything but. Instead it was 3 hours of boredom due to terrible pacing and pretentious/cliched voice overs. One of the few films I have actually walked out on in the theaters.

Burgold
Great call on Murder By Death...also its one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Peter Sellers (Charlie Chan) reponse to Sherlock Holmes is one of my all time favorite movie quotes. I use it fairly frequently in real life. The scene: The greatest detectives of literature are gathered and a murder takes place. Sherlock calls the group together seeing that he has deduced the murderer and precedes to give an intricate five minute deduction that's astounding clever and brilliant. Sellers pauses and says (spoiler) Only one problem with theory................................................................................................................................................................................. Is stupid! Is most stupid thing I've ever heard Sellers was unbelievably funny.
