Joncevensen
current voting on ESPN.com sports nation has Art Monk getting 60%, second only to the commish. PSUHeckler
Grimmy's on there too Unfortunately he's only around 22% of the votes. Monk's leading now by a hair over the commish

Stuckinphilly1
I guess I shouldn't be but I'm still surprised at the Commish getting on the ballot so soon. I think the only thing he really truly did was kill the dynasties, killed the scheduling completely but I guess this is what we get as so called "parity" in the NFL. Mods, please change this guy to #81 in recognition of all the hype, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE WITH A CHERRY ON TOP!!! :point2sky :point2sky :point2sky

It seems like any commish that doesn't suck, according to the voters, gets in.

NYSkins1
I was just reminded of a Tagliabue quote in the "Art Monk for the Hall" video: "I look forward to being with you for your induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame," or something to that effect. I remember thinking, "Wow, it's taken long enough that Tags really won't be there." But in this case, Tagliabue will be there with Monk...as his peer. DWinzit
A candidate is supposed to get 80 percent of the vote to be elected. Art leads the show with 58.2%. I expected to see Art, Matthews, Thomas and Tags minimally hovering around 80%. With 28,000 votes so far, perhaps some are only picking one or two names.
