Mr. S
sure why not, I really could care less if we lose the remainder of our games, this season is in the tank anyways. Lets give as many young people as possible the chance to play, become more dominant next season (and I still have every right to believe next season will be better). stwasm
He did a LOT of things that Brunell would NOT have done. I was impressed with how poised he was and his ability to make plays out of nothing. Let's hope that JC signals the start of some much-needed stability at the quarterback position. DaMuller7
You have my signature RIGHT HERE!!! The skins stunk up the joint (Jacoby's Words), but Jason Campbell played pretty well.....
RedskinsNation
At first I was thinking that It didnt bother me we lost because JCam got in there and did some good things. But now that the L has sunk in it stings BIGTIME. Just because I want a WIN!!!! I mean we lost by 3 friggin points!!!!! The 3rd loss by a fg this season. Any number of things had gone different and who knows..maybe Campbell gets his first W. I dont know what is heavier...the encouraging performance of Campbell or the DIScouraging display of garbage by our Defense (which now is the norm). Darc Requiem
I care that we lost but Campbell's play definitely softened the blow. I'm usually upset or depressed after a loss but Campbell's pocket awareness and poise suprised me. He looked like he has been a starter in the league for years yesterday. If Betts doesn't fumble the ball, we win that game.
fansince62
"yea I dont think people are understanding the ramifications that we might have a franchise quarterback. THAT NEVER HAPPENS. we will build around him and be a force." bingo! get id of Vinny and all the other personnel clowns; get rid of some of the coaching overhead (satrt with egoman Lindsey); get rid of the folks who cannot tackle/block/cover...and rebuild through what little draft we have and FA. We are in a 3 year rebuild in case anyone missed that. let's do it right.....finally.
H-O-G
was at the game, JC looked awesome. All the bucs fans were saying that we have a good QB of the future
retro55
It was the right move getting him in the game it can only be good for the team. I'm still frustrated with the loss, but see how he can move in and out the pocket and throw the ball down field I'm in good first game Jason. terje
IF MB was in the game we would have scored only 3 points. Loved JCs play.

The 12th Commandment
I don't ever recall enjoying a loss that much. JC looked like a rookie starting his first game at times. Some balls that sailed or dropped too short. But all in all he did a great job. Poise and one hell of an arm. He's gonna do just fine. I now have faith again. HAIL! :point2sky
Veretax
Yeah.. it felt good to see the bucs d with a deer in headlights look as we got down there for that last TD
fwo40
I just remember thinking "wow, somebody is actually stepping up and using the pocket" Now I know what 31 other teams feel like on a weekly basis. Thank you Jason. Now if you could just somehow dramatically improve your worthless Auburn team mate.
jaydub
Never would I have thought that I would feel good after a loss. But I do. JC looked great. Take away the long droped ball at the begining of the game and the fumble at the end, we win the game as well as JC having a 300 yard game. EersSkins05
It's already been said many, many times in this thread, but I totally agree that this loss was much easier to take than most. Once Portis got shut down for the season, I felt like we were just playing the season out as we tried to get a sense of what we had from new blood, so losing a game was just kind of expected. But the kid showed great poise, confidence, and all the tools of a potentially great NFL QB. I think our future at the QB spot is gonna be just fine. phatboy41
It was a beautiful thing watching him play. I have never watched a Redskins game where they lost and left with a smile on my face, until yesterday. -Doug (signing)

ntotoro
Nice to finally have promise at the QB position, but that was a winnable game if not for our lousy Defense. Campbell has touch and has an arm. I don't remember having a young QB like that in my lifetime who has looked so poised on his first start. The loss stings, though. Our Defense flat-out got beaten by a putrid Offense that had a field day against us.

Diesel70ChipOnWhite
Xmas came early this year. Can you imagine what this guy would look like if he had started week 1, or if he had Moss and Portis to help ease him in. Next year is starting to look a little bit brighter offensively! christopher44
That was one hell of a drive in the last 130 of the game.I think he played brilliant.Actually had zip on the ball and was able to avoid sacks which I havent seen in a while.Brunell would just cower and fall.Way to go Jason.
