StillUnknown
If Watson wants to be the type of fighter that just tries to throw bombs in the UFC he's going to need to be significantly better at defending takedowns and/or getting off the ground once taken down. He got dominated. Better defense might help too, he was getting tagged pretty clean on the feet by a terribly gassed Leites.

Destino
Don't normally see Lyoto controlling the middle of the octagon. He's normally content to counter punch and evade . He doesn't seem to think much of Davis' striking half way through the first round. edit: Lyoto wins 1st round easy. On the replay... Loyoto missed everything on that combo that looked really cool. Everything was blocked or off target. Phil Davis might have won round 2. Neither fighter did much of anything in round 2. Davis was busier and did a little ground and pound at the end. Lyoto landed a straight left. The fight being in Brazil I wouldn't count on points if I was Davis. My money is on 20-18 Lyoto after 2. Round 3 - Lyoto wins easy. 30-27 EDIT AGAIN: WHAT THE HELL KIND OF DECISION IS THAT?! Edited August 4, 2013 by Destino

JWB
At the same time Lyoto did alot of running away and stayed on defense. With all of Lyoto's natural talent his strategy is often confusing. Edited August 4, 2013 by JWB
d0ublestr0ker0ll
LOL, Aldo better win or Rio will get a T added to the end of the name. Cecil Peoples with the 30-27, gentlemen.
Destino
Sherdog had that last fight 30-27 Lyoto. So did Dana White (per twitter). I'll be shocked if this fight gets beyond round three. A zombie versus a buzzsaw, what's not to love? "Right back up is Zombie" - hehehe what a great line. Edited August 4, 2013 by Destino

StillUnknown
Part of me thinks Aldo might be fighting hurt. One leg kick and a slow pace against a guy who's been standing right in his wheelhouse. Still winning easy, but something is off. He's either hurt or this should be his last fight at 145 regardless of the outcome. Edited August 4, 2013 by StillUnknown

Destino
That fight was a major let down. It was nothing like I imagined it would be other than the eventual winner.

StillUnknown
What the hell is herb dean doing? When a guy is that injured its the refs job to protect him. Fighters tend to get more of a chance to keep fighting with upper body injuries. Andre Berto tore something in his shoulder in the 3rd round of a 12 rd fight last week and finished the rest of the fight.

StillUnknown
Robert Sargent@MMARisingPeople were wondering if José Aldo suffered a leg injury since he hardly threw any kicks. He does seem to be limping post-fight.
StillUnknown
Pretty good shot of his swollen foot. Aldo said he hurt it on the first kick he attempted and that it completely changed his strategy for the rest of the fight. Still pretty crazy that his reflexes didn't seem to suffer much, Aldo catching KZ in the middle of a flying knee attempt was one of few standout moments of that card. http://www.mmafighting.com/2013/8/4/4588218/x-ray-confirms-jose-aldo-broke-his-foot-during-ufc-163-win At the UFC 163 post-fight press conference in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the 145-pound champion revealed he injured his right foot during the fight, and an X-ray exam confirmed it was broken. As a result, Aldo isn't expected to fight again this year. “He broke his foot two minutes into the fight,” Andre Pederneiras, Jose Aldo’s head coach, told MMAFighting.com on Sunday. “The first kick he threw landed on (Jung’s) knee”. With his foot injured, Aldo was forced to change his game plan during the fight and use less leg kicks, one of his main weapons in his undefeated run in the UFC and WEC. However, he was still able to score his second knockout win in the UFC, the 14th of his MMA career. Edited August 4, 2013 by StillUnknown

StillUnknown
Sonnen by UD (hope I'm wrong) Overeem by (T)KO: I think Browne will think he's better than he is in the standup department and will catch a bomb or two before Reem's gas tank empties. Faber by UD: I really like Alcantara, but this feels like too much, too soon. No title on the line means Faber will cruise.
