    I don't think Collins is known for his run defense, and has missed tackles so he's not exactly a fit to shore up run def either. Starting to like JOK more than the others for defense if LT talent is gone.

    The least realistic situation is Arizona trading up to draft a qb...but regardless of the team, this is a fantastic draft, hits every need in the right spot. Would love to see this go down.

    What a great post, this should be pinned to this thread. Completely nails modern NFL QB philosophy. While most wouldn't mind one of these other guys (Jones/Trask) in late round 1/early 2, they don't possess the dynamism and upside of Fields/Wilson.

    He needs to play as a LB or in the box safety only, no deep zone concepts.

    Biggest question for draft will be if we can snag Justin Fields or what the evaluation will be for Trey Lance. Also need another guard, linebacker, and TE/WR in rounds 2-3.

    Turner needed that game after yesterday, don't have much hope with this bullpen Rizzo has put together though.

    How is it on Martinez he doesn't have one reliable guy in his bullpen. Pitchers need to pitch this is embarrassing, complete collapse in the first series.

    Never really understand why clubs wouldn't sell a player who clearly doesn't want to be part of the team. Exhibit A: Dmitri Payet situation last year pretty much destroyed West Ham.

    Not a Liverpool fan, but really hope they hold on to Coutinho, a true joy to watch when is is operating at full strength.

    Chelsea will most likely finish 17, 18 points above Liverpool, and Arsenal. Not even comparable to these two. A better comparison is between these three and Tottenham. Manchester clubs have silly money so they also should be held to a different standard.

    Wouldn't be surprised if he gets a red from the FA after throwing elbows today. Granted I think it was good on him to do so, but still.

    Heard a rumor that a Chinese team will be buying Teixeira for the €35 mil that Shaktar wanted.... While the other signings like Ramires and Jackson Martinez have been a joke this would be eye raising.

    1st game I've been impressed with Smotyrcz, really keeps his head in the press, frantic situations. Unfortunately Layman wil not be able to rebound well against these guys and maybe Wells doesn't realize this could be his last NCAA game?

    Why even play Smotrycz he is worthless cannot even make free throws. UMD has had a good season but have too much dead weight right now.

    Melo is very sloppy with the ball, although I gotta say very chippy play. Haven't watched alot of Big Ten ball over the years, is this the norm?

    Good signing for Everton, for a player who did not get on well with mgmt at Chelsea and both wanted out. Will definitely help Everton stay in the 6th spot over Tottenham. Lukaku did not want to play for Chelsea because he wouldn't be top dog. And the only starts he would get for Chelsea would be against mid table to lower table teams who pack the box, technicality is not his strength. Only way it really hurts Chelsea is if Costa gets hurts and they have to rely on Torres once again..

    Leaders (and even Captains) don't have to be the most talented or even best player on a team. They have to be someone who is respected in the locker room, who others will turn to for advice or someone who will lead the team into battle through their everyday effort and determination (Jeter, Philip Lahm).Many times the talented captain. (Ovi, Ronaldo, etc) is not the best guy for this. Sad to see that Ariza didn't recognize this but don't see this as a slight towards the young guns on this team.

    Otto needs to gain weight... Of course I say that every time I watch Durant/Ibaka/Garnett so what do I know.
