Denver seems like a cool place. Bay area seems incredibly pricey for a young professional.

People my age are looking to jump ship around here unless they're clearing at least $70k. I'm trying for 80. Anything less, and you have to be strategic/hustle and do the roomate/family living thing like I have,  or sell some crack, or your ass.

NREL pays their people well above the market average.  Probably a broad salary range based on your experience and max squat.

I’ll apply in a year. I want to be at my current position for at least a year.

Stack bodies not figurines.

Bay Area it’s like that but 100k. You ain’t owning any property soon out here. It tough. That’s why I a share a room with a friend cause we gotta hustle.

No power but I think that’s due to wind. Not sure

You probably flexed your quads and knocked out half of Bakersfield.

SNL is so bad these days.  I tried to watch Chance the Rapper's episode from last night, the first two skits after the host monologue were awful.  I still DVR it but only watch the opening political skit and then fast-forward to Weekend Update.

Finally had the "I'm not giving you anymore more money conversation" with my parents.  Its evolved into a mutual conversation about being parents to a 31 year old and being a son to parents in their 60s.

All overdue and will take time, trying to get some important closure before my sister leaves out of town again.  It is astounding how dramatic life can change in such a short period of time, a gentle reminder that that's the only constant.

We had that CD in the jukebox when I worked at bennigan's back in the 90s. It got lots of play, I didn't care who liked it or didn't. My bedroom was a shrine to Morrison, I even have the Spawn doll in the package, never opened. I have all of his poetry books and everything written about him.

Definitely an addiction. 😄
