  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah he's a clown, not even worth the reply.
  3. There are always surprise teams that rise and fall without warning. Dallas could suck. Tampa overachieved last year. Saints. Seahawks. Plenty of question marks around the league. I just see too much roster and coaching improvement in Washington to expect another debacle like last year. Dude they lost 8 games in a row LOL.
  4. I will point out that I think for people a little older, this type of mind set isn't unthinkable. To my father, buying a Japanese car was unthinkable. And I suspect it went the other way too. On one hand, my father wouldn't buy a Japanese car. On the other hand, he had no problem with us having troops in Japan to fight the communists. There was a lot of racist propaganda in the US, especially directed to the Japanese, during WWII. The relevant attitudes didn't just disappear after the war.
  5. Well if Atalanta doesn't take him at 43, the Giants could be looking at him at 47
  6. I am with you on Corum and Beebe. My only hesitation with Corum is we have two backs and while I absolutely think we should go BPA it depends if Kool-Aid/Dejean are on the board. I wouldn’t hesitate to draft Corum. I think he’s going to be really good in the NFL and paired with JD could make for a pretty lethal running attack. I just don’t think we do it and I’m not sure I would if I was the GM. But I’d love it nonetheless.
  7. Do we want Adonai Mitchell WR - a comp is George Pick 6 Pickens? **** corner and a good office is a good defense I want weapons on offense to support our shiny new QB.
  8. I love this site. I'm here daily. And yesterday was an all day event here at ES. That dude was the biggest buzz kill yesterday. I swear. So annoying.
  9. I hope Spencer Rattler pans out for whoever takes him. "Spencer, Rattler, rides in with the storm...." (Yeah, probably too obscure a reference here.)
  10. After seeing those shirt,s with the live arm that Daniels has... how long before he gets the nick name Jayden 5, He's alive With a picture of him and the Short Circuit robot Johnny Five on it ;)
  11. Feels like we’ve caught a glimmer or a hint of that in reports. Combined with his rawness, there’s a concern there for sure. I guess I’d hope that surrounding factors can make a significant impact - hard-nosed guys around him, what looks to be a sea change in culture (hopefully for real this time), and coaching that DQ has emphasized must come from connecting to the player. Would like to add a high end pass rusher to help the other DEs challenge whoever our tackles are.
  12. Not 1 and 2, but in 1981 we drafted May in rd 1 and Grimm in rd 3. (Also picked up another OG later on named Darryl Grant. He was such a bad fit for the OL that his biggest career highlight was high-stepping into the end zone as a DT with a pick-6 against Dallas to seal the victory in 1982 NFC Championship. :->>>) Kids (and that's too many of you here), RIGHT NOW, pull that play up on Youtube and marvel at what us Gen-Xers grew up with as Skins fans. Note: that same 1981 draft we drafted the guy who tipped the ball that Grant picked off -- the indomitable (and at the time illiterate) Dexter Manley.
  13. Thus concludes the whole thread 😁 Seriously. This is it. We try to simplify it. Try to put it in black and white. But we could never as it will never be simple and never be black and white. Yes, it's an insane view to have our standpoint. The hatred runs deep, but that deep? And this goes with what we're having now about Israel rebuilding or doing more to prop up a Palestine. Even if Israel offered to do so, would the Palestinians accept it?
  14. Man, DeJean would be such an astonishingly good value pick at 36, that if he is there, I would take him over any available option. Even over Kingsley and Beebe. And no way I'd trade out of the pick. I am not going to get my hopes up for him though. Every year we get excited about juicy value pick fallers in the second and third round, and every year they either get picked right before our slot or we end up passing them over for the Phidarian Mathis, Ryan Anderson, or Jarvis Jenkins monster reach. Only time we have ever gotten it right was Cosmi.
  15. This is moving the goal post. The point was that what we did in Germany, Japan, tried to in Afghanistan, etc. is fundamentally different than what Israel has tried to do. Doing just what you are responsible for isn't always the right thing or make things better. Were we responsible for rebuilding Japan and Germany after WWII? And even our allies? Did we have a responsibility to intiate, support, and fund the Marshall program? Today, do we have a responsibility to carry out much of the foreign aid spending we do? What country wants them wiped out? (I guess Iran but even much of that is garbage/propaganda I tend to think.) Even Hamas in their latest charter has backed off that sort of language. Israel is a nuclear power. One of the most successful economies in the world. Has the backing of the most powerful country in the world. Has consistently and soundly defeated its neighbors in every war they've ever fought. Nobody is wiping Israel out in the foreseeable future.
  16. I’m not playing this game with you. XXXXXXXXXXXX He wants needs attention, even if it’s only negative attention and disdain. Sad really.
  17. Congress really needs to step up and set some regulatory boundaries from the get go. Most likely, it's gonna be up to the EU again to tell big techs to stay in bounds.
  18. Yeah, that is probably true. But we did not decide against Maye because he was a huge project that basically lacks all fundamentals of QB-play. We picked Daniels because we preferred him. And the league did not see Maye as a huge project or they wouldn't have taken him at #3.
  19. People comparing daniels to RG 3 or Randal Cunningham Let me throw a few more names out there: Steve McNair, McNabb, Vince Young. HIs passing arm has me thinking Warren moon, but I don't remember moon being that mobile
