  1. Past hour
  2. Got it. Came from new orleans, makes sense man i feel old
  3. I’m not crazy about the idea of reaching for an OT today. Too much talent on the board. Excited for today. Yesterday was kinda anticlimactic because we all knew who we would draft. Sending positive vibes out to GMAP. Let’s go get some studs.
  4. You’d think some people are expecting Kingsberry to run power with him 10 times a game. I don’t even think we’ll see anything like the scheme they put together for RG3’s rookie year.
  5. A lot of people seem to think the Bills are gonna go with Mitchell.
  6. At most a single 3rd, or I'm out ... can't give up prime draft capital + huge contract at our stage of a rebuild, makes no sense.
  7. Can somebody who speaks Gen Z help me out with this “wassam” thing? Old man needs to know too! I’m still trying to decipher RGIII and his crazy cartoon power cannon or some such talk from a few days ago. .
  8. I'm a millennial and my best guess is a combination of "wassup" and "fam"? spitballing here
  9. I really liked it. There was one storyline in season 1 that kind of annoyed me, but everything else was enjoyable and that story is over by season 2.
  10. To quote RG3 in a recent vid "Football is a 100% injury rate. All positions" There is truth to that. You don't wanna be the chronically injured guy for sure, but nobody is gonna avoid injuries altogether either. Even Kickers find a way to get hurt, and they pretty much just show up and collect a check.
  11. No more JJ talk. He is banished to ATN. **** that guy, he isn’t a commander.
  12. The problem is, while they were pretending they were the unluckiest fans on earth because the Red Sox lost in '86, and the Pats were always garbage, they had the Celtics winning a bazillion titles, and the Burins winning or contending every decade...they were spoiled rotten in multiple sports and never were an unlucky city, Cleveland, now that is an unlucky city. Boston is just a bunch of self-indulgent, entitled, neurotic NY relationship having --- hats. I thought NY fans were bad enough, but Boston fans might have them trumped. Nice!! I pull out Moosen and Boxen a lot. Not sure why lol. I think si.com has pretty much folded since being acquired by those ---- blanks a few years ago. it's basically hamster toilet paper at this point. All the great writers and reporters for the most part have left the past decade or so and especially since the new ownership came in a few years ago.
  13. Can somebody who speaks Gen Z help me out with this “wassam” thing? Lol
  14. Just want to toot my own horn here. I finally got something right, please tell my wife.
  15. Kinda, except in how it seems we interpret what's available, but on the latter two points, yes, definitely. I have no idea whats gonna happen, that's probably the only thing I'm most certain of. It will be very interesting to see how this plays out in Dynasty. Caleb and Jayden are obviously gonna go 1st and 2nd off the board in 2QB amongst the QB's, but how do people handle Maye landing in a dumpster fire, JJ landing in heaven, Penix landing behind Cousins, the Donkey's reaching like crazy w/Nix....I'm gonna have a lot of hard decisions to make as I play in four 2QB leagues and am probably gonna add a 5th this offseason.
  16. Did RG3 ghostwrite this? Lame article. It’s a whole new regime and there are no indications they will make any of these mistakes.
  17. Looks like the determined that they want Holliday to get a breather at AAA and that’s probably a good idea. Have him work on tightening that leg kick and build up his confidence.
  18. Pathetic piece of writing. Daniels might be lucky to be here, maybe we’re lucky to have him. As it stands right now we were bad enough to draft him, he was good enough to be worthy of the 2nd overall pick. It’ll all play out. But the sniveling unworthiness hinted at in this article is tough to stomach. Not to mention the snide, incorrect interpretation of the Ben Johnson situation. Also the part about acquiring a veteran WR to “microwave the process” is ****ing stupid. It’s a proven way to help the development of a young QB. This writer has strange hangups that they’re projecting into their writing, and lots and lots of references to Snyder-era viper pit idiocy (more understandable). I cringe at the idea of someone from Daniels’ camp reading this. In fact it reads like it was written by someone who didn’t really want him to come here, deciding to be magnanimous enough to give us a chance. The timbre of that entire piece is that we’re an amateur outfit, not good enough to deserve Jayden Daniels, who by all rights should have gone to a better franchise. Ignores a lot of what has happened in the last year of this franchise’s history and is frankly disrespectful. But most importantly implies that Daniels has earned some deferential treatment. Everyone has something to prove in this situation. Nobody in this organization has a reputation for throwing people under the bus, but people in Daniels’ camp do. Strange framing. If the vibe of this piece was supposed to be hopeful and “a second chance at salvation” (I assume RG3 was the first chance, in this writer’s estimation?) then it missed the mark. It’s extremely patronizing, in a wheedling, annoying way.
  19. So, something I was thinking about yesterday, especially after we drafted Daniels. One of the biggest concerns for many is his frame/size which could lead to injuries. Here's the thing, I'm not sure his size is really that big a deal when compared to injury risk. (pun intended) Burrow has been injured significantly twice. Mahomes has missed a little time. Hurts has missed games. Lamar has missed games. Dak has missed games. Herbert has missed games. I'm not sure if Daniels weighed 10-15 more pounds it would change his prospect of injury. QB injuries are mostly luck. A hit at a bad angle, getting rolled up on, slamming your hand on a helmet. To me, the key for Daniels is he needs to eliminate unnecessary hits. All QBs are going to get hit. But if you eliminate as many unnecessary hits as you can, you limit the exposure and the chance of injury. One thing which bodes very well for Daniels is he is very good at underneath throws and quick game already. If Kliff structures an offense around that + the run game, they can dramatically lesson the number of hits Daniels is exposed to. They WILL present him as a run threat from time to time. But as we saw with Griffin, on designed runs to the QB, you can actually design the play away from contact. I have come around to the position any of these QBs can get hurt at any time for any reason. Richardson is 6-4 245lbs. He got hurt. Does his slight frame increase the risk? I'm honestly not sure it really does. Given the number of QBs who get injured anyway. You could argue "if the big guys get hurt, the skinny guys will get hurt more." That might be true. I'm not entirely sure I believe it. I'm excited for him as a prospect. I think he's going to work really hard, and he has the tools.
  20. This type of talk only flies if you can back it up on the field. If not, it will sink you.
  21. Just because Niners want a 1st for Aiyuk does not mean they get anything close to that. Keenan Allen (who is much more accomplished) was traded for a 4th rd pick. I wouldn't give anything more than a 3rd for Aiyuk but dont see it happening since we are already paying Terry 20mil/year and this is a deep WR draft.
  22. This is the kind of peak content that keeps me coming back to this forum and wading through “but he’s a winner!” **** posts. God bless you.
