RemoveSnyder
Ghostbusters. I submit the original and only one, Ghostbusters, as both funny and manly. Classic. It's on AMC right now, incidentally.

RemoveSnyder
Blues Brothers. Same with Ghostbuster and Animal House was already mentioned. Did someone list Tommy Boy? Blues Brothers can be manly without having to murder anyone.
RemoveSnyder
North by Northwest. Got to go with a classic here. In his day, Hitch**** had the epitome of manly actors for his leads. Part of the must have for a guy collection is for the actor you'd most want to be. Everyone wants to be as cool and smooth as Cary Grant. Vertigo and Rear Window are two of my more favored Hitch**** movies probably ahead on NBNW, but this film is super cool, manly, territory.
Califan007 The Constipated
Hmm...Um... Forehead
I'm taking a different line on this one. Rather than list traditional guy movies, many of which are already covered, my list is comprised of movies that I currently own, where when I pull them off the shelf, my wife says "abso-****ing-lutely not" or rolls her eyes and leaves the room to go watch the other TV. That's what makes a guy movie. 1. The Warriors 2. Road House 3. The Conan series 4. Cube 5. Deliverance 6. The Evil Dead series 7. The Running Man 8. Beavis and Butthead (The movie or the TV series) 9. WrestleMania 1-15 10. The Neverending Story....yes, she hates this movie. No soul, I tell you. Oh Bad Grandpa is my go to on that front. His wrinkly saggy sack flopping out at the strip club is always a favorite scene. Just now, PleaseBlitz said: I walked out of Gangs of NY when I saw it in the theater. So definitely a guy movie then? But seriously, it took a couple of viewings for me to appreciate it fully. Wasn't the biggest fan at first. And it's definitely a few levels below "There Will Be Blood" (which is my second favorite movie ever after Shawshank.) At the risk of not being allowed to participate further, I've never liked those guys. And I saw their stuff way back, one of my roommates in college had one of their underground tapes. Mostly skating mishaps with their usual stuff thrown in. Well before they became an MTV staple. Didn't like it then either. 25 minutes ago, PleaseBlitz said: I walked out of Gangs of NY when I saw it in the theater. You have problems. Great movie.
