I gotta figure out what I'm missing in that wedding pic

look at the heights of the people...

It also looks like the pavement is at a steep incline.
i thought that too...

Same here. It looks more like a visual illusion to me.

Not an illusion...look at the pool in the back. The ground is sloped.

Velvet covered Ferrari.

Better keep that indoors.  I imagine it would be tough to clean especially if a bird poops on it.

I also imagine it increases wind resistance.  You're not hitting top speed in velvet.  But I suppose if you're the type who would cover a Ferrari with velvet you're more about show than performance.

Fan Wants Browns as Pallbearers

"A lifelong Cleveland Browns fan has gone to his final rest, but not before making one last request from the team.

Scott E. Entsminger, 55, of Mansfield, Ohio, died on July 4. Entsminger, a Columbus native, was a musician and a Browns season-ticket holder who wrote a song for the team each year and sent it in, along with his advice on how to run the team.

According to his obituary in the Columbus Dispatch, Entsminger also:

"respectfully requests six Cleveland Browns pallbearers so the Browns can let him down one last time."

http://deadspin.com/referee-kills-player-then-gets-beheaded-at-brazilian-so-685459212

Last
Sunday, an amateur soccer match in Brazil came to an unbelievably
gruesome end when a referee was murdered by outraged fans. His head was
then cut off and placed on a spike. The beheading was retaliation; the
ref initially stabbed a player to death.

It happened
in the Maranhão region of northeastern Brazil. Thirty-year-old Josenir
dos Santos Abreu approached the referee, 20-year-old Otávio Jordão da
Silva (pictured above) during a match to argue a call. Abreu reportedly
threw a punch at da Silva, who then took out a knife he was carrying
with him during the match, and stabbed the player. Abreu died of his
wounds en route to the hospital.

Meanwhile,
the player's friends and family invaded the pitch and attacked da Silva.
They reportedly tied up the referee, beat him, stoned him, lynched him,
and then quartered him. When they finished, they cut off his head and
placed it on a stake in the center of the field.

This is a picture of Babe Ruth, after knocking himself unconscious running into an outfield wall.  It being 1924 they splashed water on his face, told him to rub some dirt on it, and the Babe got up, went 3 for 3, AND THEN ALSO played in the 2nd game, as it was a double header.

Authorities: Fugitive caught after taunting tweet

SAN DIEGO (AP) — "Catch me if you can."

San Diego County District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis said Wanda Podgurski sent that taunting tweet after skipping trial in January while facing charges of insurance of fraud.

But then authorities did catch her. Podgurski, 60, was captured on the Fourth of July in Rosarito Beach, Mexico, a popular retirement spot for American expatriates only 15 miles south of San Diego. She pleaded not guilty Monday to failure to appear while free on bail.
