They say despite a statement from Trump's spokesperson that later sought to clarify he did not actually purchase the firearm, Trump later re-posted a video from one of his followers with a caption stating he did buy the gun.

I believe that. Trump never pays for anything. He just took it.

Still against the law to possess a firearm. Lock his ass up!

Trump's legal schedule is filling up.  After his NY trial on Oct. 2nd, he is scheduled to be deposed in FL on Oct. 3 for his lawsuit against Michael Cohen.

Trump continues playing games.  He's now file another emergency request to postpone his deposition in the Cohen suit (he filed against Cohen) because he's afraid to be deposed.  His excuse this time is that he's going to attend the Oct 2nd trial in NY this week.  We'll see if he actually shows.  His deposition has now been scheduled for October 9th (which is a holiday) so he can't claim he's attending his other trial, and it'll be in NY, not FL, so he can't claim travel issues (since he's going to be in NY, right? ;)).  We'll see what excuse he comes up with next, but he may just finally give up an drop his suit rather than be deposed.

First on CNN: Fulton County DA subpoenas Trump ally Kerik to testify, and he wants immunity

The Fulton County district attorney’s office has issued a subpoena to former New York Police Commissioner Bernie Kerik to testify in the first trial later this month in the case stemming from election subversion plots in Georgia, according to his lawyer.

But Kerik’s lawyer, Tim Parlatore, is demanding that his client be granted immunity in exchange for testifying, pointing out that prosecutors indicated in the indictment that Kerik was a “co-conspirator” in the case. While not named in the indictment, CNN previously reported that Kerik is co-conspirator No. 5.

With the Kerik subpoena, the Fulton County district attorney’s office is trying to secure potentially crucial trial testimony from a witness who can shed light on various efforts by former President Donald Trump and his allies to upend the 2020 election results in Georgia. Two of the 19 defendants – pro-Trump lawyer Kenneth Chesebro and former Trump campaign lawyer Sidney Powell – are set to go on trial on October 23.

The pushback from Kerik underscores the difficulties prosecutors face in a complex case where Trump and his allies face possible legal jeopardy in multiple jurisdictions, as prosecutions alleging election interference are being brought in the Peach State and against Trump in Washington, DC.

You should see all the MAGA Twitter users running with Trump's "80% of my case was thrown out due to the statute of limitations" nonsense as if it is carved-in-stone fact, and especially as if it exonerates him of fraud lol...

They all look something like this:

What's the TLDR so I don't have to give him clicks?

Leticia James had an accountant testify today about financial stuff that occurred in 2011. The judge said since the statute of limitations only goes back to 2014, she needs to tie in the 2011 testimony to stuff that happened after 2014 or else having the witness testify will have been a "waste of time." James saId it does, so the judge said he'd allow the testimony to stand for now. He also reaffirmed what a higher court had already declared was the cut-off year for the statute of limitations.

Trump left the courtroom and portrayed it as if the judge dismissed all charges that dealt with stuff that occurred before 2014 and that it made up "80% of the case against him" lol...kind of like how he portrayed the Presidential Records Act as allowing him to take all the government documents he wants with him.

MAGA Twitter now basically all say that James doesn't understand what a statute of limitations is, has brought a case against Trump by filing charges on stuff that occurred outside that statute of limitations, call her a hack, a Trump hater, over her head, out of her league/depth, amateur, etc, yadda yadda, and so on.

Just a reminder:

Who cares what Trump says and his sycophants believe.  What matters is what the final ruling will be.  He can say what he wants, but when it is eventually contradicted by the judges decision, it won't help him financially.

So you think people are going to riot if Trump's company goes under?

Nowhere did I say that...but what Trump says and his sycophants believe always ripples out into the larger pond.

Which is an indication of how they will vote.

We already know how they will vote.  It's how the few undecided will vote that is of concern.  Him being a fraud and failing at business will ultimately help show them he's not worthy of their vote.

They don't care.

They'll still vote for him.

They're in a cult.

They’ll claim election fraud

Then the country will learn about all the state laws they changed in the last 2ish years that will give them the ability to change the results without as many hoops to jump through

This is why what Trump says and what his supporters believe should matter:

Right before today's trial he spread the false claims about how corrupt Leticia James is and how "you should go after this attorney general"...and then right after the trial basically said 80% of her case was "ended" by the judge for being past the statute of limitations. Let me repeat: he starts the day at the court house saying James is corrupt and hates him, then ends the day--again, at the courthouse--conveying that the judge provided proof that he is right about her.

That emboldens those among his followers who have no problem whatsoever threatening Leticia James' safety, either verbally or physically. They will believe she is persecuting Trump for political reasons since even the judge said 80% of the charges against him should be ended--which of course the judge never said. I've seen way too many tweets claiming just that, so it immediately was making the rounds as soon as he said it...As well as it gives the Jim Jordans of Congress fuel to misuse their positions to harass James if they feel the need...because their voting base already believes she's corrupt and incompetent and simply hates Trump.

Said it back when we first found out about them not checking the box and selecting a bench trial.
They'd use it to scream how he's been cheated, counting on the fact that his idiots won't know a damn thing about it because their propaganda news won't tell them.
It won't matter one iota how many ways he is convicted, proven to be lying, shown to be the fraud and traitor he is.
It won't matter. For them it will be spun into more persecution, and violence will happen.

Trump should be in prison right now. And he should travel to his trials chained up in Con-Air. He should be taken to court in the darkest deepest entrances they can find, and when convicted, should be moved directly to the closest maximum security prison, with no chance to speak in public ever again.

Ever.

He is a danger to this nation, to the people he targets, their families, and ultimately, everyone who isn't on his side. A very real danger.
