PokerPacker Posted March 31, 2022 Share Posted March 31, 2022 (edited) With the 132nd pick of the NFL draft, the Green Bay Packers selectAkayleb Evans, DB, Missouri Akayleb Evans mostly played CB in college. He's got the speed your expect from a corner, running the 40 in 4.46 seconds. At 6'2", he's got more than enough height to play the perimeter. He plays a physical, aggressive style of CB, excelling at the press-man. At 200 pounds, he also packs quite a wallop and doesn't hesitate to get involved in stopping the run. He'll have some difficulty finding the field at CB in Green Bay behind Jaire Alexander, Eric Stokes, and Rasul Douglas, but with his size and physicality, he might find the opportunity to rotate in at Safety. I also believe his physical characteristics makes him a good candidate to play on special teams. I can see him taking on a Gunner role on punts.
