Spears is a space player with big-time home-run potential. He’s a headache for linebackers in the open field. This past fall, he went for 1,587 yards on 231 carries with 19 scores and 1,052 yards after contact. Spears took his game to another level in 2022, earning the American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year Award by rushing for 1,581 yards and 19 scores (229 carries, 6.9 per) and catching 22 passes for 256 yards (11.6) and two touchdowns in 14 starts. He's different than what we have and can fill that 3rd RB role.
