Adkins was elected to the school board in 2021. He faced calls for his resignation in June after the Winchester Star reported he had been charged with driving under the influence. The Northern Virginia Daily noted that Adkins had been identified as a Jan. 6 rioter by online "sedition hunters" in 2022.

Trump fan who assaulted officers with a hockey stick on Jan. 6 is sentenced to prison

WASHINGTON — A Donald Trump enthusiast who believed the former president's lies about the 2020 election was sentenced Wednesday to more than three years in federal prison for assaulting law enforcement officers with a hockey stick during the brutal battle at the lower west tunnel of the U.S. Capitol during the Jan. 6 attack.

Michael Joseph Foy was arrested in January 2021 and was initially held in pretrial detention. He was found guilty of felony charges in June. Federal prosecutors sought more than eight years in federal prison, saying Foy assaulted officers with a hockey stick and a sharpened metal pole after he traveled to Washington with a "TRUMP 2020" flag.

But U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan — who is overseeing Trump's delayed federal trial on charges he tried to overturn his 2020 election loss by conspiring to obstruct Congress and disenfranchise American voters — said Wednesday that the Justice Department's request was "unreasonable" and that it didn't factor in Foy's military service and other factors in his life in the lead-up to Jan. 6. Chutkan ultimately landed on a sentence of 40 months, meaning Foy will end up serving an additional two years and a few months in federal prison.

David Bowie Tribute Band Singer Arrested For His Role in January 6th Attack

Steve Baker, a conservative journalist who also sings in the David Bowie tribute band the American Bowie Experience, has been arrested and charged for his role in the January 6th, 2021 attack on the US Capitol.

Baker is facing four misdemeanor charges, according to NBC News. He turned himself into federal authorities in Texas on Friday.

According to a FBI affidavit, Baker spent 37 minutes inside of the US Capitol on January 6th, including at one point inside of the office of then-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. As evidence, the affidavit points to surveillance footage from inside of the Capitol, as well Baker’s own cell phone footage and comments Baker made about his experiences inside of the Capitol which he recounted on his podcast.

They're at it again lol...this time it's Serbian foreign nationals instead of Hugo Chavez:

Full text:

"BREAKING: Sheriff Dar Leaf reveals he has been investigating key players in the Michigan 2020 election including Dominion CEO John Poulos, Dominion employees and contractors, Jocelyn Benson, AG Dana Nessel, and others.

"My department is in possession of sensitive documents that are part of an ongoing investigation involving Dominion employees. These Dominion employees directed, and tasks Serbian foreign nationals to remotely access the Michigan election system."

Sheriff Leaf said this in response to a subpoena that was sent to his office to hand over his law enforcement file. This is obviously an attempt to stop his investigation. The dark forces in control of Michigan must be panicking."

Yes, obviously panicking...or laughing and rolling their eyes lol...one of the two.

Testimony Fleshes Out Account of Trump’s Demand to Go to Capitol on Jan. 6

President Donald J. Trump had just delivered his fiery speech at the Ellipse early on the afternoon of Jan. 6, 2021, setting in motion the attack by his supporters on the Capitol.

When he got into his armored vehicle after the speech, Mr. Trump immediately brought up a topic he often broached after his public appearances: How big was the crowd?

But within 30 seconds, his conversation with his lead Secret Service agent took a more contentious turn, according to a transcript released on Monday of an interview by House investigators of another Secret Service agent who was driving the car. Mr. Trump wanted to go to the Capitol, but his lead agent, Robert Engel, said no, telling him there was no plan in place.

“The president was insistent on going to the Capitol,” recounted the driver, whose name was not disclosed. “It was clear to me he wanted to go to the Capitol. He was not screaming at Mr. Engel. He was not screaming at me. Certainly his voice was raised, but it did not seem to me that he was irate — certainly not, certainly didn’t seem as irritated or agitated as he had on the way to the Ellipse.”

But, the driver said, Mr. Trump never lunged for the steering wheel or physically accosted the agents, contradicting the most sensational and hotly disputed elements of testimony given to the House Jan. 6 committee by a White House aide. The transcript of the driver is the first extensive eyewitness account of what happened in the armored vehicle to be made public.

“I did not see him reach,” the Secret Service driver told investigators for the House panel. “He never grabbed the steering wheel. I didn’t see him, you know, lunge to try to get into the front seat at all. You know, what stood out was the irritation in his voice, more than his physical presence.”

Trump Calls for Liz Cheney and the Entire Jan. 6 Committee to Be Jailed

Former President Donald Trump is directly calling for the imprisonment of nine of his political opponents — including former Congresswoman Liz Cheney.

In a post on his Truth Social platform Sunday, Trump shared an article from far-right writer John Solomon which alleged that the Jan. 6 committee “withheld crucial evidence” in its probe by not releasing the testimony of a Secret Service agent who drove Trump’s limo on Jan. 6.

The Jan. 6 committee had an agreement with the Secret Service to avoid disclosing “privacy information, for-official-use-only information, intelligence and law enforcement sensitive records and raw intelligence information” from 12 interviews it conducted. However, some on the Right have argued the real reason the interview with the unnamed driver never saw the light of day is because it contradicted Hutchinson’s testimony.

Former President Trump not only does not buy the committee’s explanation, he thinks Cheney and its eight other members should be thrown in jail.

“She should go to Jail along with the rest of the Unselect Committee!” Trump wrote.
