Wife never really watch Seinfeld. We’re of an age where that sort of thing was determined by your parents.

conversely I’ve seen every single episode at least 3 times. At least.

so we’re watching it start to finish. Couple of thoughts

a - easily the best sitcom ever. Outside of random things like pay phones and message machines, everything holds up all these years later. Cause it’s just about how people act and that really hasn’t changed.

b - it’s so enjoyable going through it again, with someone who’s never seen it, and seeing the genuine laughs because it’s their first time

The irony is that I have a Masters and she does not but the State pays **** compared to the Feds. Wife is a GS13 with SF Bay Area locality pay.. 😄

I am looking at about an 80 to 90% pension though when I hit 60ish. Not that far to go..also being a DINK probably is the only reason we can live where we do.

Also tshile..we only kids ****ing rule. Especially if you too were a GenX latchkey kid.

I went through the same sorta thing with The Sopranos.  Discovered it years after it ended.

The combination of intensity, and comic relief is great.

Hahah yeah man. I’m technically a millennial but identify with gen x. Only hung out with older people. Which, I wound up exposed to things at a much younger age than I should have, but otherwise I think was worth it.

the last two years of highschool kind of sucked. All my friends and even my gf were off at college (which, that relationship didn’t last long. SHOCKER)

my wife is actually the only chick I ever dated that’s younger than me.

And she’s only younger than me by a month…

I don't find Seinfeld funny and I've watched most of the episodes.

The Wire is also worth going back to, if you missed it.

seinfeld, the wire, the sopranos… that would be my top 3.

Yes, I've skimmed thru The Wire recently.  Very Soprano-ish.

I can't get over how funny The Sopranos is.  So much tongue-in-cheek.
