Anyone wanting a change from how Dan has run this team over the past 20 years and is simultaneously rooting for Haskins is a hypocrite.

I am a redskins fan. I never root for them to lose unfortunately. Even when it’s to our benefit. But you can’t say a single bad word about Dan if you are happy with the Haskins pick. Can’t have it both way.

so admit you think Dan is the greatest owner in sports and you want him to be the Gm officially.

You can't complain about Dan and Bruce being involved on player acquisition but embrace the Haskins pick. Fact.

Let me try one:

If you don’t like global warming, you can’t root for any humans to live beyond today.

If you don’t like Dan and Bruce making football decisions, you can’t support the Haskins pick. Period. Not a difficult concept.

You can do mental gymnastics to try and convince yourself otherwise, but you are smarter than that...

It’s not difficult to understand, but it’s also not rational. To believe that Haskins failing will impact anything Dan does, after 20 years of ineptitude, is utterly irrational.

If he’s a success, it feeds into the narrative that Dan knows more than the football people. It’s exactly how we got here.

In 2001, Dan desperately wanted to draft Santana Moss. Marty overruled him and drafted Rod Gardner. Dan turned out to be right.

He fired Marty after an 8-3 finish in his last 11 games over that decision because Dan said football was not fun when other people were making the personnel decisions.

Dan being correct or lucky about Haskins will set this franchise back another 2 decades.

On the other hand if Haskins is an epic failure and Dan is blamed entirely for the debacle, then change can happen.

The fans need to show outrage toward the players he acquires when over ruling football people. The fans prevented Jim Fassel from becoming the head coach. The fans have power but need to exercise it even if it’s uncomfortable for some.

Every time Haskins takes a snap he should be booed loudly. He should be tied directly to Dan and Bruce and made miserable at every step. That’s how you begin to change culture. Cheer him and root for him and you are enabling Dan and Bruce...

Outside of Dan’s delusional mind, there is no narrative that Dan knows more than the football people do. We got here because Dan is delusional. A delusional mind doesn’t become rational when a QB fails, it didn’t when RG failed, Dan will blame coaches, people like Dan are rarely accountable, and that’s why we are here and why it’s irrational to believe the success of Haskins will have any bearing on how Snyder handles things in the future. We’ve seen this scenario play out, we’ve seen it fail, and we’ve seen no changes stemming from that failure. It is absolutely irrational to think Dan will change his philosophy if a guy he loves doesn’t succeed. You can’t apply reasonable responses to actions taken by delusional people.

RG3 had one of the best years ever under Dan. If he’s not injured who knows how that plays out. That’s how Dan thinks.

Supporting Haskins is absolutely supporting Dan in making delusional and irrational decisions. If you want to support that no one is preventing you, but don’t pretend you don’t like the culture or Dan and Bruce making the football decisions. Maybe they won’t stop being delusional but you and the rest of the fans don’t have to be...

Supporting Haskins is supporting Dan and Bruce. Period. You are welcome to do it. Just be honest about it.

I don't think they can do those kinds of things with concussions. If he doesn't past the tests and standards to make it back to practice, he won't move forward in the concussion protocol, no matter what people might want.

However, recovery from concussion is highly varied and if he clears fast he will definitely play instead of Haskins.

Good stuff. I do wonder how concussion protocol clearance goes.

With no medical background at all, I feel like players may need to provide feedback. Do you have a headache. Does it hurt to move around, are you dizzy at all.  Meh maybe they look at the pupils and its a simple accurate test.  But seeing Jordan Reed showing optimism and then being reeled back in says its a very dynamic injury.

But my point is Case is playing for his next contract.  He needs a strong showing soon in case Haskins is handed the key if he wants to get paid proper. I can heal up after the bye when Dan makes the call. When the best thing going for him is "Well, it was the Redskins" it's still not good. The big payday is winning in Washington.

We know players come back from injuries sooner than a non NFL sanctioned doctor would allow, others don't even sit out when they should after getting their bells rung.  You can get concussed without showing immediate ill effects, and thus many escape protocol completely.

I think a majority of football concussions are not high profile.  The most severe ones however, we do likely witness.   Gronk said he had 20 concussions. I can't ever recall him laid out proper arms pointing skyward.

Supporting any player or any win for that matter is supporting Dan and Brucie. It’s all unfortunately tied together. I’m not rooting for wins now but solely for the draft position. You’re purposely rooting against a player out of spite regardless of how it affects team performance.. You know who else is doing the same thing? Bruce with Trent.

Not when they specifically over rule the football people. This one is totally different...

You’re right. You’re not our crummy president. If you were Haskins would be banished to 7th string out of spite to the owner.

You’re basically letting personal animosity for someone in the organization override your love of the team.

Continued gif failure

Here are the steps from mobile. You have the option to simply save a gif & upload it (#1 below, “click to choose files”) - but if you want to save that space on your device, you can insert the url by following #2 in the first image below... and then following the blue circles through the others.

You simply need to copy & paste the image url into the field displayed in image 3 & hit “insert into post. The process to copying the image urls is displayed in image 4 below; Hold the gif, with your finger, & select copy - then paste as illustrated in image 5 and it will format for you immediately as shown in image 6.

Give it a go and lmk.

Not their football decision making. Nope. You are all doing mental gymnastics to support a change in culture and futility yet are supportive of Haskins. You can’t do both. They are not mutually exclusive,

Either admit your disdain for the last 20 years is fake and admit to yourself that you agree the culture is great as Bruce claims. If you support Haskins, you are supporting that assertion.

Haskins, Haynesworth and Zorn are all specifically egregious Dan decisions. You can’t support those particular ones without supporting the current culture of the past 20 years.
