So we’ll basically lose the series at home Friday night. Yay…..

More like last hurrah to force a game 7 only to lose it there instead.

There's no way to reasonable expect them to win a game 7 in Florida, if we wanted to win this series we had to take this one.

Still feels like a familiar movie...

What sucks is Florida hasn't really even been that good. Its mostly just been eff ups by us not just tonight but the entire series. Its not like we got thoroughly outplayed like say the 2016 Penguins or last year's Bruins.

We could have easily won this series 4-1. But...Caps will do Caps things.

Is the camera man ****ing drunk?

Wish I was.   We completely fell apart in the second half of the game.  Couldn't keep possession of the puck, much less in our o-zone...passing totally sucked.  Looked like kids out there.

Too bad our superstar isn't even a threat. Barely even know he's out there.

Ugh, stop this, please.

This is the kinda talk that had folks talking about trading him not too long ago.

We need to let it go, he's 36, let him retire a Cap and break the goals record then be happy he even bothered with us this long.

This isn’t the right take either.

I really wanted to believe we slayed all our demons the year we won the cup.  But we didn't, neither did the Nats.

Which part?

Letting him stay until he retires or being surprised any superstar would stay in DC this long?

If he says something like he wants to leave, that's one thing, but I wouldn't support being the party to make the first move, for what?
