Bacon
I can't even be mad. We stole game 1 despite being out hit 9-3 and they stole game 2 with a slightly fresher bullpen. I don't envy those players having to wake up for another one in like 12 hours.
StillUnknown
we know the answers Doolittle deserves better than to have to wear these results now.
Bacon
Like I said, let this game be a learning experience. There's a lot to take from it, some of it very good.
StillUnknown
they could make me feel better by never pitching Grace in a meaningful game again
Bacon
If I wake up tomorrow and Grace has been DFA'd, I'll chalk today up as a win.
Captain James
One would believe that the winners of a game like that won't have it in them to turn around and win again the next day. But, this is DC sports we're talking about. We'll see what happens.
TheGoodBits
The single (early) trade deadline absolutely screwed us this year. We now officially have another big bullpen need with no way to fill it.
Bacon
Once Elias comes back, I think it'll be alright. Doolittle is usable every 3 games or so, he's just not an every night kind of pitcher anymore. Strickland has been great, Hudson has been great, Suero is good as long as he's not overused, Rainey is coming around. Today's game may be ugly for the bullpen, but I don't believe things are that bleak going forward.
Warhead36
We need to put Doo on the 10 day IL. At the very least it'll soft reset him.

Bacon
Victor has been the MVP of this homestand for sure. He's doing everything except pitch and he's even bailing out the pitchers at times.

Bacon
Turned it on just in time for a 3 run HR. Still not confident that this is the best Nats team I've watched, but it's definitely the best Nats lineup.

Bacon
I'm laughing so hard right now. Tony knocked that straight in the air and a sudden wind gust pulled it 400 feet.

bcl05
How early can we declare clown pounding? I think baby shark pitches at least 2 innings... I’m watching on my phone from the local dog park. I think I have to stay here the rest of the game now. At least the dogs will be exhausted... CRobi21
Rendon apologizing all the way around the bases for tossing his bat, thinking he flew out when he did so. Then apologized to Pina at the plate, and he just looked at him like "did a MLB player actually say sorry?"
