This is not the Alabama defense to poach for talent.  Quinnen Williams and Dylan Moses are the only ones who are special.  Raekwon Davis ain't ****.  Mack Wilson ain't ****.  Deionte Thompson is pretty good, but being overrated.  Anfernee Jennings and Isaiah Buggs are OK.  Midround Grinders.

On the other hand, this Clemson defense is loaded with talent!

That defensive line is legit.  Not a huge fan of Lamar and Joseph, but they're solid.  Kind of gimmicky the way they use them.  Secondary looks good and that coverage weakside linebacker #11 has some real talent.  Decision making was a little rough early on in the game, but he's settled in and made his presence felt.  He's one to watch moving forward.  Got a little bit of Derwin James in him.

Their outside corners have been lights out too.  These are extremely difficult match ups and they're winning them.  Alabama has three star WRs.

Yeah, I really like Isaiah Simmons. 6’3” 230 and runs 4.4 40. Remind you of anyone?

I think he’ll be a SS at the next level.

I'm about to drop a bold ass hot take:  This is the beginning of the end of the Saban era.  There were signs of weakness coming in the way Georgia played them the last two years.  And win or lose tonight, they look very mortal.  They don't dominate physically like they used to.

He'll coach another ten years, but they're going to slowly slide out of prominence and have to genuinely compete with other teams in their conference now.  Like what happened with Bowden in FSU.
