But the two whopper of a screwjob in rolling out minority initiatives in SC and his track record regarding South Bend police force really give me pause. It has been pointed out to me that the Mayor of South Bend isn't in charge of the police department. They have a chief, who's elected. Which doesn't, in my book, grant complete immunity. If nothing else, my general feeling is that good politicians have the power to influence things that aren't technically their job. If nothing else, by trying to modify public opinion. But it does mean that, to use the analogy of arguing whether the budget deficit is the President's fault or Congress, I'm gonna have to look at what each of them actually did, before I decide what percent of the blame I choose to give to each participant. He wins zero votes with that and doesn’t advance the cause of defeating Trump. He didn't go after Warren on PACs, he just said that taking that into account, it makes no sense to go after him on it. And the Amy thing, was just following up on the moderator's questioning, and because Amy always goes after him for being inexperienced, when she didn't know the name of the Mexican president or offer up anything policy-wise in the interview. (which led her to go into an unsettling incoherent rant against him....). He could have left her alone, but they are fighting over the same voters and she seems to have some kind of personal animus against him for a while, so I don't think he can count on her getting out. Meaning he likely thought he would need to do as much damage to her as possible. My main issue with Pete (though he's my favorite) is that he doesn't often go into many details in debates. But on the other hand going into too many details tends to confuse and overwhelm people and often backfires.
skinsmarydu
The only ads I'm seeing here in ATL are Bloomberg's. It's like the rest of the Dems are depending on Stacey to do all the mobilization. They need to get on the air here and fight for Georgia. It's definitely doable. You and I have different opinions about whether a gay man can be elected President in the US. I mean, if you were going to try to script it, having him run against Donald Trump is certainly an advantage. But I'd say that "gay" is a much bigger disqualifier than "socialist" is. Cooked Crack
Quote Speaking of Mayor Bloomberg, his favorables have absolutely plummeted since Wednesday night’s debate. He currently has a net favorable rating of -48, with 49% of likely voters viewing him very unfavorably. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Warren has the highest favorability, at +39. It seems Warren’s strong performance in the debate performance led voters to view Warren more favorably and turned them off of Bloomberg. This increased favorability has not translated into support for Warren, although its possible late breakers may give her some boost.
