Have you ever smoked Weed before??? Do you still?

First time in this thread. I’m a casual user of some edibles (gummies usually) and I have questions for the community… 

 

do you all notice DRASTIC differences in potency between gummies, even those in the same bottle?

 

I noticed it most with 10mg thc gummies. Some of them only have mild effects, some I will be floored after only a half. I settled into only taking 1/4 of a gummy as it allows me to remain mostly functional while still getting the relaxing effects I want. 
 

But then the other day the same thing randomly happened with a cbd gummy. I had gone through a whole bottle before with zero head high like you get from thc. Popped one before I had family over (dealing with some back tension) and an hour later I was barely able to function. And of course since it was an edible it lasted all day. That was before noon and I ended up having to sleep it off. 
 

So what gives? I’m thinking about tossing the rest of what I have because of how unpredictable it has been.

Buzzette is the one that does edibles mostly.  And yea, that seems normal, especially when trying new strains, brands, etc.  If you get quality stuff, all the ones in the same batch should be even though.  The first time trying anything new always happens at home though because you never really know how it will hit.

It can be kinda common when the dosing isn't distributed evenly in oils and butter when cooked or baked. Like Buzz said higher quality the dosing should be somewhat uniform. 

 

Give away the ones ya dislike instead of **** canning them. 🗑🚮

Totally. The most annoying part for me was that it wasn’t my first time with them, and they were cbd only. Absolutely zero reason I should have been impaired at all.

We have a box of disliked gummies.  Never know what to do with them.  Seemed weird to be like "hey buddy, here are these gummies that totally ****ed us and we hate, try them".

It's being absorbed through your stomach, so it's going in with everything else.  (Kinda why vitamins need to be taken with food.) 

Like alcohol, it will have a stronger effect on an empty stomach.

Dad called me out on still using tobacco leaves to roll blunts after quilting smoking over 10 years ago.

 

I'm not used to there being a lot of options...whoa buddy, times have changed.

 

I walked out with tea leave wraps, they have hemp based, even palm leaves now.

 

I'm impressed, it was time.

My wife and I use Zig Zag ultra thin rolling papers. We just get the 900 count box every 3 or 4 months. 
 

I haven’t smoked a blunt in over a decade. One of my grow homies, sent me some Virginia gold tobacco seeds though (I think that’s what their called). He grows and makes his own tobacco wraps. 
 

Trying my hand at growing clones. Pretty cool to have arguably some of best plants ever in my garden. Some of these clones come from plants that are over 20-30 years old.

No stems… just a lower grade flower. 
 

Theres like AAA, AAAA, AAAAA ratings for each flower…. and they have a dozen different strand options for each grade. 
 

So they might have 2 strands that are selling for 3oz for $100. They also have other deals with 4 strands that sell for $40/oz too. And so on.

 

But I’ve never had any problems with the lowest grade. Just as good as any weed I’ve smoked before… it’s just not super skunky sticky icky hydroponic level stuff… and I’m okay with that. 🙂
