According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press, he was grabbing his left knee as teammates prayed around him. abdcskins
From the ESPN article - Bridgewater dropped back to pass during a drill, planted his foot and immediately went down. He grabbed his left knee while concerned teammates and athletic trainers huddled around him. What is somewhat puzzling is that Bridgwater is a right-handed QB, so if he was planting to throw it would've been his right leg/knee. Who knows... Dunno, weird that his leg would just break. Seems more in line with a non contact ACL or something. They wouldn't call an ambulance over an ACL, so you have to start thinking worst case scenarios, meaning could he have torn multiple ligaments, resulting in knee dislocation. This kind of injury can also lead to vascular and nerve injuries... So an injury that can end a career. This really sucks. I like Teddy. Hoping it's less serious than it sounds at this point. Baughlin'
Man gotta feel bad for that fanbase, especially how last year ended. At least it's not a badly broken leg - long term he'll be ok.

tshile
That sucks, but why did they end practice because of it? It says 30 minutes into practice, but maybe after they finally got him out of there it was essentially almost over? Seems weird to end an entire practice, when you have 90 guys in camp, just because of one injury?

TheGoodBits
Sedated for an MRI? 1 minute ago, NickyJ said: Did somebody say "Colt McCoy trade"? You could get what a 4th rounder tops for McCoy? Maybe less? He's worth way more than that to us as a backup here.

SkinsGuy
Ian Rapoport is saying on NFLN the people who saw the injury described it as "gruesome", with some being sick, and some having to look away. Probably overstating it, but it might explain why Bridgewater had to be sedated.

TradeTheBeal!
I feel terrible for TB. He's a great kid with a big future in this league. I wish him the best. Regarding the nature of non-contact knee injuries...I remember well the Sean Livingston incident. It was non-contact and easily one of the worst I've ever seen.
