Conn Posted August 11, 2016 Share Posted August 11, 2016 Honestly think the Falcons are one of the "secretly" terrible NFL teams/franchises in modern history...they never get talked about with all the other bad/mediocre teams but they consistently underperform, they don't have a ton of talent or depth on defense, really only have a couple great playmakers on offense, and Matt Ryan was so overrated for so long until everyone finally realized that he's not that good. Up until the Mike Smith era, they never had back to back winning seasons in franchise history so that is a pretty good description of their franchise. He's not going to punish defenses, he is much more of a speed guy. I am a big Georgia fan and am rooting for Marshall, but he's not going to be a bellcow back for us. We need to see if they were freak injuries or if he's soft, or what. He can't play a big role for us if he can't play without getting injured.
