Think Davis is going to be cheap and this years TE class is very weak. Dont see a problem with giving him a team friendly 1-2 year deal. Cousins loves his TE and Reed is one hit away from a season ending concussion at all times.

 

Davis has been shying away from the contact for the past few years... he's done and he certainly does not block. Nope.

Davis has been shying away from the contact for the past few years... he's done and he certainly does not block. Nope.

Maybe we do trade for Kam since he was the one that smashed the soul and talent out of Davis, perhaps he can give it back if they are on the same team.

Or maybe Davis will play better just knowing Kam is on our team and not lurking on another defense

I personally just want us to keep developing as much young talent as possible, even if it means we miss out on 1 or 2 above average seasons from an aging veteran player at the same position. Unless the injuries to Paul and Carrier are the types that have shown themselves to be difficult to fully recover from, I don't see any pressing reason to bring in Davis.

That nobody was also too much to keep our young guys off the active roster. Seriously, Hamm couldn't beat out nobody.

We need a TE who's going to be there and can catch/block. We have questions and holes. Davis will be cheap too.

Dude, Manziel has old long oil money.  That's probably why he acts like he does.  I think they call it "affluenza" these days.  Yea, that's it.

 

I think the story was his grandfather was kind of sleazy too.  He probably feels above the NFL which is why he continues to act like, as my grandfather would say, "a damn fool."
