Here are the games announced and details given: Dishonored: Definitive Edition Brings players improved visuals on current-generation consoles. The Dishonored: Definitive Edition also brings players the three DLC releases: Dunwall City Trials, The Knife of Dunwall, and The Brigmore Witches. Dishonored: Definitive Edition hits this fall for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Dishonored 2 - Officially Announced https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMjXIt9gvTY Fallout 4 - Drops November 10 Everything announced/revealed last night: The artists have created concept art for every button and piece of tech in the game. And we saw a lot of art. Good work, Bethesda The game starts before the bombs fall, on a beautiful Saturday morning under the threat of nuclear war. Players will create their character in front of a mirror by sculpting their character's face and features, similar to The Sims 4. The main protagonist is voiced, and he (or she) narrates some of the things he sees. A Vault-Tec rep comes to the door to sell us entry to a nearby vault. The team recorded over 1,000 of the most popular names, so your name might be spoken in the game. Eventually the bombs drop, sending the world into darkness. We don't get much of the story, but players will emerge 200 years after the bombs, emerging as the sole survivor of vault 111. Player agency is still a main design goal for the game. After wondering the world for a small bit, the player comes back to his home town and runs into his old robot. The dialogue is dynamic, so players can walk away from conversation or even kill the other character in the middle of a conversation. The dog from the trailer is your buddy, and you can give him commands in the game. We saw the player tell him to pick up a bottle, and the dog ran it over to him. The V.A.T.S. system is back, and it now gives you more time to slow down time and hit the action hard. It doesn't stop action Howard said that Fallout 4 is the biggest, most immersive open world the team has ever worked on. The Pip-Boy is back, and it works as your menu, but it also can be used to play cool old games. A Fallout 4 collector's edition comes with a working Pip-Boy that you can put your phone into. Android and iOS devices will have a companion app that lets you access things in the game using a second screen. While playing the game, you can rebuild new things inside the game. We watched a demo of someone building an entire house on the fly and then decorate that house in real time. As you build out a city, people will start to show up and move into your city. If you get power generators, you can set up automated defenses like turrets to protect your settlement. You'll need these defenses because your city can get raided. Once you have multiple settlements, you can set up trading caravans between the settlements. The crafting system carries over to other elements in the game. If you collect enough items you can start crafting new weapons. The game has 50 base weapons and over 700 mods that can completely change your gun into something new. We saw simple pistols modified into crazy plasma rifles. You can even modify your own power armor. Gameplay:
Momma There Goes That Man
Doom Campaign Demo: Bethesda's id Software executive producer Marty Stratton gave an expanded look at Doom, and it was as bloody and visceral as you'd expect. The first part of the demo showed off a version of the action we saw at last year's Quakecon, with a few details we noticed about the action through the mining facility on Mars. The melee combat was not for the timid. The protagonist reached into the chest cavities of demons, ripped out their innards and kicked them aside. Players' use of the shotgun and the chainsaw can target different parts of the body, and we saw the legs blown out from under a demon by the shotgun, and the chainsaw cut off limbs as well as cleave a demon in two. The radial weapons menu has more than eight slots, with the super shotgun, rocket launcher, and plasma rifle shown. The demo also showed off a new part of the single-player story into the depths of hell, which was a cavernous environment with plumes of yellow gas, a vertical scale, and plenty of skulls. The player jumps down hell's cliffs, with his fall cushioned by his suit's impact compensation. After dispatching some demons, a door opens up and a mancubus lumbers out, double-fisting plasma rifles. The mancubus is a hearty foe until the rocket launcher weakens him; at which time the player plunges his hand into his chest, extracts something from the mancubus' chest and shoves it down the demon's throat, blowing it up into viscera. Jet-packed revenants tangle with the protagonist before the stakes are raised even higher. A multi-story cyberdemon towers over the player, wielding a BFG... Multiplayer: During today's Bethesda E3 media briefing, id Software gave fans a brief glimpse of what the multiplayer offerings for the upcoming Doom will look like. While the gore and fast-paced action we've come to expect from the franchise were ever-present, id also put on display a way to let players flex their creativity within Doom. Id Software is aiming to deliver fast-paced, arena-style combat that takes players from a facility on Mars to the depths of hell. Players are able to battle it out in modes ranging from domination to freeze tag to clan arena. The multiplayer is said to feature vertical movement and unique weapons and power-ups. During the brief demo, we saw players wielding rocket launchers, machine guns, and other weapons that made their enemies explode into a pulp. We also saw a player in the role of a Revenant as it used its mounted weaponry and picked up a pentagram power-up. The game also features Doom Snapmap, an infrastructure that enables every player to build and share creations within multiplayer. Players can craft their own modes and maps using tools that id touts requires no expertise. Id showed off player-created survival and deathmatch modes, and claims that players can easily create or modify maps and modes to provide a steady stream of fresh content within the community. Within Doom Snapmap, players are able to share their created content instantly with friends and the greater Doom community. Doom is set to hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in Spring 2016. Chew
I'll just go ahead and hijack this thread now. Screw Batman, screw whatever little games Nintendo has. Fallout 4 reveal is all that matters. Said it last night, I'll repeat it. Todd Howard of Bethesda said that Fallout 4 is the most technologically advanced, detailed, in depth video game that has ever been made. He revealed that they've been developing this game since 2011, just a few weeks after Fallout:New Vegas dropped. If you guys have time, I BEG you to watch thus 28 minute video. More customization than I've ever seen. If anyone on ES who considers themselves a "gamer" and doesn't buy Fallout 4, I'm going to ask PCS permaban your candy ass. This is the type of game that will change your life. MULTIPLE TWITTER HANDLES FOR BIG NAME VIDEO GAME SITES HAVE ALREADY CALLED FALLOUT 4 GAME OF THE YEAR. Witcher 3 and Bloodborne be damned. EvilMonkeyBoy
I'm a gamer. I will never play Fallout 4. I guess this is goodbye then. Which is fine really, gives me more time to play the grindfest that is Earthbound Beginnings(AKA Mother 1) on the Wii U VC.
Chew
Unreal...lol. seriously though, Evil. Even after all the awards and praise FO4 will get, youre certain you'll never play it?! Wow. Lol I guess this new xbox 720 might be a real thing?

shakinaiken
I'm a gamer. I will never play Fallout 4. I guess this is goodbye then. Which is fine really, gives me more time to play the grindfest that is Earthbound Beginnings(AKA Mother 1) on the Wii U VC. I can support this notion. I too consider myself a gamer, and the fallout games have never impressed me(played about 10 hours of fallout 3, and attempted New Vegas- couldn't get hooked). However.... The Fallout 4 presentation at E3 last night did intrigue me a bit, though it does just appear to be fallout 3 1.5, instead of an entirely new iteration. I'm more looking forward to today's press conferences, most notably the much-maligned ubisoft conference and the sony conference.
Metalhead
I am all over F4 when it drops for PC/Steam. Super-pumped. Fallout, Elder Scrolls, KOTOR/TOR, and Deus Ex are my favorite franchises. I haven't finished Mass Effect 2 to put it on my list, and yet to play 3, but that franchise is up there too. Regarding F4, I do find it absurd that it is available for preorder on Steam...it's a damn digital download, they can't run out of copies! Will preorders have exclusive content or early access to download? I haven't heard anything yet.

Momma There Goes That Man
Will this Dishonored Definitive Edition come to PC as well? Graphics looked old in the last iteration The release only stated PS4 and XB1 so far. I know what you mean, the graphics were't the best but this is one of my go to examples of why graphics don't matter. The art style and the gameplay more than make up for the graphics. Gamebreaker
Xbox One getting backwards compatibility. Wow, that's a home run You can play multiplayer with those on 360 and use One features like snapshot and recording. Yeah, I liked the idea then I started thinking.... Can I use my existing 360 library on the X1? Spencer made no mention of that. This won't be available to everyone this fall. And they only mentioned digital access. It seems to me this won't have a large amount of games available, likely the most popular stuff which is great. But If I already own the game, what's the harm in allowing me to put the DVD in my X1 and play it? They won't make any money off it.

Pretty sure its all free that's why he took the shot at PS Now at the end and I thought he said discs would work too. 100 titles will be ready for everyone this holiday. The Evil Genius
http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2015/06/xbox-360-backwards-compatibility-coming-to-xbox-one/ According to Ars Technica, the XBox One backwards capatibility (for a limited amount of games this Fall) will work like this: Gamers will have two ways of playing old games that are part of the backward-compatible initiative. If users already purchased the games digitally through Xbox Live, they can simply log in and re-download the game on Xbox One without paying any additional cost. If they own the game as a disc, they'll have to download the game to their Xbox One hard drive, and the system will then check for the disc before launching the game.
