Springfield
I would say musical lyrics but it's probably best to keep it to hip hop and really mostly mainstream hip hop (although we won't have to worry about super obscure horror core rap with MoCo gone). Post your favorite lyrics. Flows well, has great meaning, pumps you up. Just make sure to watch the language! (Also it would be helpful to post who and song title) I'll start off... Andre 3000 (Outkast), Aquemini "My mind warps and bends, floats the wind, count to ten Meet the twin Andre Ben, welcome to the lion's den Original skin many men comprehend I extend myself so you go out and tell a friend Sin all depends on what you believing in Faith is what you make it, that's the hardest **** since MC Ren Alien can blend right on in with your kin Look again, cause I swear I spot one every now and then It's happening again, wish I could tell you when Andre, this is Andre, y'all are just gon' have to make amends" Kendrick Lamar, **** Don't Kill My Vibe "This **** is vital, I know you had to This **** is vital, I know you had to To die in a pitiful vain, tell me a watch and a chain Is way more believable, give me a feasible gain Rather a seasonal name, I'll let the people know this is something you can blame On yourselves you can remain stuck in a box I'mma break out and then hide every lock I'mma break out and then hide every lock" Lupe Fiasco, Streets on Fire "Disease, the virus is spreading in all directions No safe zone no cure and no protection No symptoms define the signs of an infection No vaccines, remedies, and no corrections Quarantine the dreams and seal off the connections Don't let them in not a friend not a reflection Everybody's got it and want you to have it next and Don't accept them if you want to stay as an exception No pill can heal the ill of this Sickness some are still in doubt of its existence Some call it forgiveness and some call it the vengeance Some say it's an exit and some say it's an entrance The poor say the rich have the cure The rich say the poor are the source Revolutionaries say it's psychological war Invented by the press, just to have something to report Some say the first case came from a maternity ward Some say a morgue, some say the skies, some say the floors Whores say the nuns, nuns say the whores And everybody is sure The scientist say it only affects the mind The little boy said it only affects the girls The preacher man said it's going to kill off the soul A bum said it's going to kill the whole wide world"
Jumbo
so...who is going to get themselves banned this time? (every time there's a hip/hop/rap lyrics thread people end up posting rule 6 and rule 13 violations)  or maybe I just saved people!  (you did your part, Spring)
Springfield
I figure that the tailgate has been rather dry lately. I wanted to do my part to get some (apparently not) original ideas going. To much racism talk, tragedy talk, political talk going on in here. Let's get some people banned!!!

abdcskins
I'm on my phone and don't feel like posting lyrics, but I like clever lyrics with dope wordplay. Something by Chino XL or perhaps Ras Kass. I also like straight street lyrics talking about mafioso/ghetto ****. See Raekwon- OB4CL or something Wu-Tang related. I also like cryptic lyrics like MF Doom or Ghostface.
