MCnDaHouse
Saw this link on yahoo.com: http://www.sbnation.com/nfl-mock-draft/2015/3/2/8130925/2015-nfl-mock-draft-jameis-winston-leonard-williams Mock draft of first 2 rounds. However I immediately noticed they used an odd logo for the Redskins. Just a cursive R. Then when I looked at the teams, they listed all by city and nickname, EXCEPT for the Redskins which they simply called "Washington". I found this very offensive. Just wanted to let you guys know. wysknz1
There's a lot of announcers that won't use the name, who cares. I won't type out d*ll*s c*wb*ys. But I'm sure no one cares
mike42
Not surprised. In their minds if it sounds offensive, it is offense. They try to prove their points like a child would. Those type of people are taken over the sports media and it is a shame. It will get worse and we change our logo. When network executives begin joining in on this, they will have the redskin logos on helmets blurred out during the entire game.

Except for RG3's helmet, he is too fast for the blurr to keep up with him. Boom!
Probos
I really don't care anymore. If they don't want to say the name because it offends them then so be it.

I have a few theories on why this is but they're not really relative to football. Suffice it to say I'm almost never disappointed in sports media anymore because my expectations really can't get any lower. I long ago wrote off the phrase "sports journalist" as an oxymoron. CrypticVillain
I tired to ban SB Nation, but they're just too good. Of they want to look like idiots and use the chiefs, but not the Redskins that's on them. Besides, Hogs Haven us a part of SB Nation and they use the name all the time. skins island connection
It could be a coincidence, but I doubt it. When the Redskins were winning, the crybabies nationwide, including the Oneida clan, were getting the media attention and they egged it on as much as they could. Now the Redskins have had 2 bad seasons and all is quiet. Crickets. Seems these assholes are a few years late getting to the party, and thats fine with me. Maybe we'll see them in a Snickers commercial soon.

He's going to open a wizard of Oz themed casino. Sounds nice and all since the writer of the book is from that area....until you look at the views of such writer towards the Native Americans...it would appear that L. Frank Baum advocated for the extermination of native americans.....oooops
