http://www.nbc-2.com/  Philadelphia Eagles safety Nate Allen has been arrested by Fort Myers Police Department, police confirmed Monday

 

Comcast SportsNet is reporting that police questioned Allen after a 16-year-old girl accused him of indecent exposure.

The media outlet says the accuser changed her story several times and Allen was subsequently released. 

We have not confirmed that information with Fort Myers police.

Unless we get to play college teams instead of professionals, I see no reason why next year's schedule will help us in any way.  All the sudden now we're going to take advantage of well placed home games and weak competition?  lol

I think that regardless of the truth (which we don't know) that's what the media would like us to think. Much better story that way.

Without reading, I'd argue we don't really have a face now nor should we. Faces should be hidden in shame.

 

I respectfully disagree, the face of this team in my mind is

He is thriving on the team and has improved each and every season in the league. To me the face of what we need is more guys like him and if he was on another team he would be thier face too. If every player had the desire that Ryan has we would be in the playoffs every year

IMO, if Thompson is ready to step up and be the break-out guy at RB, I think we're in good shape at RB with Morris, Thompson and Redd.

 

That's a pretty big "if".  He's got 39 yards from scrimmage in 6 total games.  And even in the preseason, his skill set is tantalizing, but he hasn't really knocked your socks off either.

Pretty excited for the day when we're consistently successful and our HC is (most likely) overrated and considered the face of our franchise. That's when you know you've made it. Belichick, Carrol, the Harbaughs. That's the kind of "face of the franchise" you hope emerges from the ashes of this rebuild, with McCloughan the mastermind behind the curtain. That's a long way off though, and probably a pipe dream. Most teams as bad as we are just find new ways to fail, it's rare that one of the worst teams in the league joins the upper echelon even after sweeping organizational changes (which we're only assuming will happen at this point).
