pjfootballer
It means we've been in a subpar football conference playing Wake Forest, NC State and Boston College for years. Now we play a traditional power house in our stadium. For years, Florida State was the only major power to come to Byrd, so it is a big deal. Hope OSU underestimates us.

btfoom
NIce win last week up in Rowan. Led 3-1 into 3rd, Rowan scores 2 goals and game goes to shoot-out. Maryland wins 2-0 in shootout (best of 3). My son got an assist - nice. Terps take on St. Joes tonight, 8:00 in Laurel. Lots of goals between these teams last season. Go Terps!!!

chipwhich
Love my Terps, but not feeling too lucky today. Our defense is atrocious and OSU runs a different class of football program. I just hope we don't get embarrassed.

chipwhich
Our defense is garbage, gonna be a long day. This year will be a lot like last year, start out strong then hit the buzz saw like when we got embarrassed by Florida State.

grego
Put in Rowe. Ya. Not impressed with Brown's throws. But then, when is anyone? He's just not a passer.
BRAVEONAWARPATH
Unbelievable..... Brendan Darr @BrendanDarr Follow Edsall on Rowe vs Brown: "C.J. Is our quarterback." Said he went with Rowe in 2nd half to pass the ball better. Edited October 4, 2014 by BRAVEONAWARPATH
Redskin4ever
Well, there are some things Brown can do that make the offense better as a whole. But when you need to pass, Rowe is the better option. Rowe made some bad throws today too, but he at least gives the receivers a chance. Brown is at his best in the option game. If that isn't a weapon, then there is not reason to have him in the game. Ohio State was just too big for MD. Both the Offensive and Defensive lines just pushed MD around all day. Forehead
This was what I was talking about pre-season, not even trying to be a dick about it. The Big 10 as a league is probably a step slower than the SEC, that's shows in major bowl games, but they will pound on you. I don't think MD will have as bad a season as I originally expected. Penn State is okay but their O-Line is terrible. Michigan is down. Michigan State and Wisconsin will probably be painful, but I'll bet you guys get to 7-8 wins at least. But of course, its all our WRs fault. the stadium was 40% OSU fans too. The biggest game in Byrd history might end up as the biggest embarrassment.its def not the biggest game in Byrd history. BRAVEONAWARPATH
Baltimore Sun earlier this week: According to sources, CJ Brown took the majority of the snaps and looked good. Reporter during the game: According to the coaches, CJ didn't practice well during the week due to his injury and thats why he was benched. His injury affected his passing...which happened to be on the non-throwing hand....yeah. Infer what you will.....
