Rufus T Firefly
Jennifer Lawrence..... Should we? Obviously. Could we? We might get too excited leading to unfortunate outcomes. Would we? See above.
Commander Chaaarmnder
Really have my fingers crossed for a proven vet wide receiver who is also young. Eric Decker all the way please.

Thekyle1591
D'qwell Jackson to the COLTS! 4 years 22 million. Not too much for a quality player. The Colts lol. Not great with the cap apparently. Ricky Jean Francois LOL

BuhBuhBiggie
I thought I had a pretty decent idea, but my thread was crapped on then closed. It appears that others share my opinion of the recently released Champ Bailey. http://www.hogshaven.com/2014/3/6/5476378/should-the-redskins-sign-champ-bailey

Yeah, that's how you earn being crapped on.
BuhBuhBiggie
a 36 yo coming off two awful seasons, who demand big money at a position we have two starters combined with there already being two FA threads. Yeah, that's how you earn being crapped on. He had a bad season due to a foot injury he attempted to play through. I distinctly recall people saying the same of Woodson, then he went to GB and played like a superstar. As I stated, along with this article, if he agreed to play for a fair amount of money, I think he'd be a great addition to our defense and a great teacher for our young DBs. NIKKI8
I have been very disapointed in Josh Morgan's play over the last two seasons, When he was signed he was supposed to be this super sleeper that was only being held back because he was injured. He was ok in his first season but horrible last year, not to mention the worst return man I ever saw. But for some reason I wouldn't mind bringing him back IF he signed for the minimum and was just brought to camp to fight for a job. There seems to be some potential there and I don't want to see another Brandon Lloyd situation.

TexasSkinsFan
When Champ goes into the hall of fame he will go as a Redskin and one of the greatest of all time. I would welcome him and hester if the money was right, two positions that we need help at

I would welcome him and hester if the money was right, two positions that we need help at Champ was awful the last couple of yrs and Hester hasn't done much the past few yrs. although he did take one to the house against our unspecial teams. WFC
Wouldn't mind seeing Champ end his career here if 1) he is healthy and 2) the price is right. I know he is 36 and at the end of his career but no matter what if he is healthy he is still a beast. At 36 I would feel more confident seeing him out there than someone like Wilson. I know it would be a one or two year quick fix but it could buy us some time to find a good replacement on a more permanent player. Like I said at the beginning only if he is healthy and the price was right.

Birdlives
This is not usually my thing, but I'll throw one out there just for giggles. DeMarcus Ware, should he become available. Rescind the tag or trade Orakpo and sign Ware to a deal and draft his replacement in the 15'-16' drafts while he holds down the position.
Koolblue13
Ware, Hester, Champ, yeah, this is exactly what this thread is for. Hell no absurdities.

Hester was the 2nd best returner last year of those who had 37 or more returns. Saying he had not done much doesnt make sense to me. I would agree the NFL has said with his release and Holidays release that these specialist arent worth paying big money for but this is still a position that we need improvement at so it all comes down to the dollars to me. if they money was right I would welcome him
SWFLSkins
This should be in the FA thread. Well I thought so to, but really this is a great Idea, keeping all the dumb ideas or wishful thinking in one place for all to speculate. Though I like Rufus title better, it still is a great job OP. Jumbo
Yeah, I can go back to locking threads (which looks crappy on the front page) and issuing one week bans for the posters who apparently haven't read the rules, or even seem to read the board very well, and are spitting out "what about this guy" posts that don't make it to the main thread---which is mainly devoted to actual events and more serious likelihoods/discussions than just the random "durrrr." Or we can try to use this thread to add players/moves to post more about and that fit here better. And thus try to save some bans/closed threads. If youse guys can figure it out and it helps, we'll keep it. If I see too many people having seizures, I may give up and close it. I understand it takes a huge amount of brainpower and restraint (sometimes physical) to post within ES rules and guidelines. I know it can be overwhelming even for we of genius football minds. jflow78
….AND with that, I have a perfect article for this thread. It's John Keim's very own "Should the Washington Redskins pursue…" (no kidding, that's the title of the article) http://espn.go.com/blog/washington-redskins/post/_/id/5898/should-the-redskins-pursue He mentions, Champ, Finnegan, Browner, and Hester.
