I've even seen some unfounded rumors that she plays for the other team. I agree. Now he has become a liability to her. She will leave him when this dies down. It takes a serious detachment from reality for someone to continually place himself in public view while continuing such deplorable behavior. What a schmuck.Recall an article I must have read, 20-30 years ago, about Pete Rose and the HoF. The writer explained that it seems like there's been this pattern happening, for at least a decade, now. Time passes, and his opinion of Pete Rose and the HoF mellows. Things become more muted, as they fade into history. And he starts to feel like maybe the guy has suffered enough, and the things that people hate about him don't seem as important as they used to be. And yeah, there's probably lots of jerks in the HoF, but they're in there, anyway, because well, they might be jerks, but they were good ball players. And maybe it's time to forgive the guy for the things you hate about him, and recognize that "yeah, he's a jerk, but he WAS one heck of a baseball player, too." And it's time to forgive and forget. And then, . . . . Pete Rose opens his mouth. And the reporter reads what he said, and decides "Nope. At least not yet". The reporter was saying that, if Pete Rose had just STFU for 10 years, he would have been in the HoF 20-30 years ago. But no, he has to go find a reporter and remind everybody of why they didn't vote for him, the last time. ---------- The American people are willing to forgive a lot of things, over time. I'll admit, I have no idea...anyone?As I understand it, a woman can ask for divorce under Muslim law - something that was not allowed under Arabic customs prior to Mohammed. But, by default the father gets custody of the children...however I think she would simply ignore that guideline entirely. The fact that she married a non-Muslim man is solid evidence her religious convictions don't run too deep. Under Islam, men may marry non-Muslim women, but muslim women are strictly forbidden to non-Muslim men. The fact that she married a Jew I think means she doesn't care about such things, regardless of what that nut Michelle Bachmann would have you believe.
