JoeWolf990
I've been trying to tell y'all. He was exposed in the Finals by coach Spo. I haven't looked at the Thunder the same sense. Â We all saw how bad they were on offense with out KD and/or Westbrook. Can't believe he's still with the Thunder. the only people who regard Brooks are the ones in the media. He is a terrible coach.

Going Commando
Hopefully Phoenix will finish strong and keep OKC out of the playoffs. If that happens, Scott Brooks gets fired. And if the Wizards simultaneously make a postseason run, then KD2DC would be like 75% realistic.
Destino
Tristan Thompson turned down a 4 year 52 million offer. I'm not sure what the crazier aspect of that is, that he turned it down or that someone offered 13 million a year for Thompson.

Destino
Â The Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets and Oklahoma City Thunder are involved in discussions about a three-way trade that would send Brooklyn playground legend Lance Stephenson to his hometown team, according to league sources. Â Stephenson, who has been a poor fit since signing in Charlotte this past summer, would join the Nets, while Brooklyn center Brook Lopez would be moved to Oklahoma City, sources said. Charlotte would receive Jarrett Jack from Brooklyn and Jeremy Lamb from Oklahoma City. http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/12176540/brooklyn-nets-charlotte-hornets-oklahoma-city-thunder-talking-lance-stephenson-trade

Mr. Sinister
Wonder how long before we here about good ol Lance being involved in a stabbing incident or going on the run from the Russian mafia. EvilMonkeyBoy
Brook Lopez, even if healthy, isn't going to have a huge impact in OKC with the ISOBall those guys play. It's not like he's gonna clean up on the boards.
Destino
Lopez gives them an interior scoring option though. They've never had that. Not a defender or rebounder though, so not a move that would change much in the West.

None of these teams have any cap space. Salary doesn't even come close to working for OKC. Lopez is at 15.7 this season. Lamb is at 2.2. OKC would have to ship off Perkins and a bunch more trade ballast contracts to work in Lopez's salary. What exactly would OKC be giving up that's of any real value in this trade? You'd think they'd actually have to surrender something to get a big like Lopez. Also, for Charlotte if they're shipping out Stevenson, they'd need to take back another contract in addition to Jack, but there's not enough room for Charlotte to take back a ton of extra salary from OKC. I don't see this deal happening. Too many moving parts. Doesn't seem like there is enough incentive for Brooklyn to pull the trigger either. Going Commando
Then again, Billy King is an utter moron and I could see him having the marching orders to make bad trades to dump costs to make the team easier to sell.
pjfootballer
So what exactly is Philly's plan? They've been tanking for five years. They acquired some young talent. Where are they going with this? I have no clue what they are trying to do. I guess nobody saw it or ignoring me. Oh well.
Destino
They are trying to stockpile picks in hopes that they come up with a star or two. Then build around those stars. That's the impression I get anyway.
