I wonder what the deal is with his 40 time. he doesn't look like a 4.6 guy. the way he plants and changes direction reminds me of dante hall

Alfred Morris 40 time was like 4.67, but yeh his got some moves. A lot of competition in the backfield this TC.

probably his acceleration out of cuts and running at top end speed faster is waht makes him look so fast. He bursts out of those cuts and is at top speed so quickly.

I think Jamison is a direct threat to Helu and Royster's roster spot, more so than Thompson. If Helu is still hampered by injuries or Royster is still generally useless then I can see this guy taking their spot love his decidedness and his shiftiness in tight quarters. He isn't Barry Sanders but he has enough quickness to get defenders off balance and then he just runs through their arm tackle or avoids them all together. He runs behind his pads and was Rutgers bell cow so I could see him being the direct backup to Morris while Thompson would be more of the specialist. long speed sucks but hey that's why he didn't go in the 3rd or 4th

Yeah I'll second that. I wouldn't be entirely opposed to 4 tight ends either and keeping less receivers this year.

RB: Morris, Helu, Thompson, Jamison

TE: Davis, Reed, Paulsen, Paul

WR: Garcon, Morgan, Hankerson, Moss, Robinson

I guess these are the problems you have when you start getting depth at all your positions. I think it was Graziano that said he doesn't think Reed will threaten Paulsen or Paul's spots because he doesn't do any of the dirty work like they do and is a totally different player. I tend to agree with that assessment and could see us using him almost as another receiver so it won't hurt to keep less receivers this year.

I think Reed is being underestimated, he gets nasty separation and uses his body, he probably needs to be coached up on his blocking. As for Jawan I too will root for this guy to make the team and help out his family.

Remember all those awful options to Banks last year? Briscoe, Morgan even. Our option toss to WR's made it clear, we needed more RB's.

I think we got 2 backs that we will run that play to.

I see Jamison taking the backup RB spot from Royster, and serving as our 3rd down back, I predict Thompson will take Banks spot in our offense. I am not expecting anything from Hulu at this point. Grant Paulsen said he was still limping in January.

just watched his highlight reel and I like what I see. If this kid can be a Sproles type of 3rd down back it's gonna be awesome to watch. This kind of scat back will take pressure off of RG lll without question. Shanny has to be loving this pick with his history of running backs.

I thinking that Jamison makes the 53 man roster maybe Thompson is put on the IR to let him fully heal from his ACL injury and our running backs on the 53 are Morris, Helu and Jamison. Just a thought at this time as it is early yet.

I heard the interview this kid did on "Inside the Locker Room" with Bmitch, Doc Walker, and Scott Jackson yesterday. His character reminds me of Alfred Morris. "Yes, sir," "No, sir" very humbled. Very excited.

His mom was diagnosed with breast cancer this past Decenber and he found out on Christmas day (right before/during Rutgers' Bowl Game). She had a procedure and it was all removed. Then shortly after the procedure they found more that needed to be removed so he decided it was time to come out.

This kid could've been a day two pick if he stayed one more year. Tremendous story, great kid, and great ability to boot. Rooting hard for him.

Hopefully he is ready to spell Alfred. I think if he plays to his potential in the pre-season he makes the 53. Evan Royster is on notice.

I think Evan Royster is gone.

Paul can also be listed as the 6th receiver on the depth chart. That's the beauty of it.
