This makes a lot of sense. But I've also heard that Lucien Laviscount (Alfie from Emily in Paris of late) was being chosen.

I hate the goofy buddy dynamic between Eddie and Venom.  And that's the essence of what these movies are about, which is why the first two didn't do anything for me at all.  And this trailer looks like more of the same that I won't enjoy.

I heard Hardy signed a 3 movie contract so hopefully this isa ctually the last one

 

Sony movies are so bad compared to MCU. Hoping one day Brock and Venom make it to the MCU where they won't be disrespected like this

I liked the first 75% of this movie, the tonal feel of the last bit felt out of place. Not enough to ruin the movie, but kept it from being a great movie.

Anyways, see Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. Better cinematography (if thats possible), better story, better acting, etc. My only gripe is some of the action looks very CGI and the characters do some impossible superhero **** that doesn't fit the narrative of the movie. Fury Road  had some of that stuff in it, but it was used to enhance the practical effects, not replace them. Still absolutely worth a watch.
