Does anyone know if we still get a pick from the Lions for Kevin Barnes?

We need to figure out a way to increase this to about 12 picks...look for some Allen magic.

We've got enough late rounders stock piled from the last 3 drafts. Let's get some more 2nds and 3rds!

Shouldn't we get a compensation pick for Landry?

He wasn't a RFA, so no we don't.

I don't think that's the kind of compensation pick they were asking about.

From what I understand the compensatory pick goes off of if you pick up free agents or not. Well the quality of them anyways. We added a lot of free agents or at least enough to cancel out the Landry loss.

we may have enough injuries to our free agents they don't perform enough to deny us the picks.

I'm 99% sure trade stipulations don't consider how long a guy remains on a particular roster. I don't even think the pick was a conditional one. I'm pretty sure we still get the draft pick.

This site, http://www.walterfootball.com/nfldraftorder2013.php, keeps track of the NFL draft order and does not list it, but they may not have updated. I believe the 7th rounder for Barnes was conditional upon him making the roster, which he did, barely.

We also have an extra 6th from McNabb so make it 9 picks
That was a conditional pick and the condition (x amount of playtime) wasn't met.

The site above lists us as getting that 6th rounder for McNabb. It also has New England shipping us a 5th rounder for Albert Haynesworth, which would give us and extra pick in each of the last three rounds. Doesn't make up for missing a 1st (though I'll gladly take Griffin) but it does give us a chance to build some depth. Right, now, I think we're looking at 9 picks total (2,3,4,5,5,6,6,7,7)

I remember reading something saying that the conditions weren't met. Let me Google that for myself...

As of right now our 2013 draft is:

2,3,4,5,5,6,,7 = 7 picks

5th from Pats for Haynesworth, Obviously, no #1 from RG3 trade.

As stated, no extra 6th for McNabb (although it still says it on the NFL 2013 draft wiki).

We don't receive anything from the Kevin Barnes trade either:

Lets all hope John Mara doesn't find out about this. I'm sure it could be twisted into something illegal somehow.

I'm surprised Mara hasn't found out a way to nix the deal that netted us the Bears entire draft to give Chicago the right to draft Ricky Williams back in 1999.
