WEEK 2 Expert Picks: YAHOO!, ESPN, Sunday Countdown,Madden, NBC, FOX, CBS, et al.

Last week the experts didn't give the Washington Redskins a chance to beat the New Orleans Saints. Of course they didn't expect Robert Griffin III to put on the most impressive rookie QB performance in the history of the league. Now most of the experts are on the bandwagon. Will the 'Skins be like the teams of old and play down to bad team after playing up to a good team?

UGHHHH, we play so much better when the world is against us. In recent years, we usually have a really bad game when the media pretty much unanimously picks us

LOL, Donovan really sidestepped talking about the Skins there

I just don't get that the so called "experts" dismiss the fact that the OL of the Rams is average at best and depleted on top of that. How do they honestly justify going against a front 7 that just a week ago put a hurting on the NFLs top QB and offense. Do the Rams have a TE even in the neighborhood of what NO has? Receivers? Watch Bradford in the Lions game and you will see the guy is a statue most of the time. How the hell is that line going to protect him against our front 7? This is not even about RGIII on the other side of the ball. Its our running game. Call me a homer but if you have even a little football knowledge anyone can see that the Rams don't match well against us. Sure we can have a let down, sure we have a rookie QB who can have mental lapses (more than Grossman last year? I don't think so but just saying). However we know Ds win games, especially on the road and we got the goods there.

I don't recall a lot of that. Remember a lot of inconsistencies and inept performances and losing badly more then playing decent games when the media paid attention. Seems it didn't matter either way our Skins just played terrible football. Perhaps its warranted now because this isn't the Redskins Ive come to know for the last 15years or more. Feels great .

I don't ever want to over look a team. And I've done it with the Rams b4 and got knocked out of my suicide pool. with that said, there is no way we're going to look even close to a Rex Grossman offense this year. I know it's only one game, but I saw enough in that one game to know we're going to be a contender. Our defense is superb. No way Bradford scores more than 10 pts. And I'm being generous with that. RGIII is poised to have a great season. He's the smartest QB we've had in decades. The rams may be able to stop a few things from us on offense, but they won't stop everything. Shanny finally has the QB, Receivers, and RB's he's wanted. Look out everybody...look out!!! #HTTR

If we beat down the Rams can you imagine how unraveled our fan base is going to be at FedEx next Sunday? I know we got off to a fast start last year but I think we all knew it was fools gold with Rex under center. I think we've got something very special with RG3. I don't think Ive ever been this optimistic and excited about a season. So freaking pumped!!!! HTTR!

We do NOT play better when the world is against us. We have sucked and most teams we've played against were definitely superior. The "world" will pick the superior team but even suck teams beat the superior opponent now and again. Since many of the teams we face are superior, we will statistically get 1-2 of those. Of the other games? Well, they are just toss up between suck teams.

I cant believe anyone is picking the Rams considering we beat them last year with Rex Grossman having another bad game.

Why? So you weren't upset that no one gave the Redskins' much of a chance last week? Bad teams do stomp good teams a couple of times a year. Remember, we did stomped the Giants twice last year even though we were a suck team.

HAIL YEAH! I will be at the home opener, I expect it to be crazy and loud. We need to really get behind this team and be a tool for them on Sunday home games

i'm not surprised some people picked against us. you just dont know what to expect from this team- yet.

i'm just surprised that the 'what if' sim picked us to lose 44% of the time, considering i would think it was based more on numbers (which should favor the redskins).

To be fair...we've played bad in a lotta games...unanimously picked or not lol. If we want to get to a higher place, we better learn to live up to the hype. Right now RG3 is getting an insane amount of hype, I love it...but it scares the crap out of me.

Regardless HTTR!~!
