More that the GOP is acting exactly like the Dems.  Ie.  We want to do whatever we want and go eff yourself if you don't like it.

That's awesome Kilmer. Considering that the GOP has on numerous occasions admitted to strategizing that Barrack would not accomplish one single thing during his term, irregardless of whether or not it was good for the country and its citizens, what did you want them to do? The right has sabotaged the ACA at every turn, and continues to demonstrate that they are willing to let MILLIONS of Americans lose their coverage because we can't have the other side of the aisle demonstrating that they can actually help people. If that happens, people might vote for them and then we can't give tax breaks to our rich donors.

Then there's the plan of your ilk... let it spiral and crash. Of course, we're going to take the controls and fly it into the ground at 1000 miles an hour. Again, cause the GOP does not give one flying **** about helping anybody but their lobbyist overlords.

Yes they did.  Thy held hearings and offered concessions all the while the GOP kept saying they wouldn't support it.   It's not the same thing.  But it's still a ****ty way to run the govt.

I keep saying the Dems need to own this.  Let it continue to spiral towards collapse.

He mad.

Dont blame him.

there was no need to admit it.

Mitch McConnell said his primary objective was to make sure nothing he did passed and that he was a one term president.

right on TV with a hundred cameras in his face.

Let it spiral and crash, and if our big dollar insurance and pharmaceutical lobbies can help by sabotaging it, all the better.

That'll drain that swamp, i tellya.

But hey,, good news.. if no one who is sick can get coverage, then there's none of those scary death panels that had all the ignorant rubes flapping their slack jaws.
You can just die without needing permission. and hurry it up, we got money to take..   er.. make. Like yours.

**** these people, and truly **** anyone who sees what they do and believes it's draining anything but our wallets.

@Kilmer17

Not really mad, but annoyed that you don't believe 60 Senators and a majority of the House is a "politial mandate" to actually ram partisan legislation through, and think 50 Senators is the same.

We all know the Senate has traditionally required 60 votes because they act as a legislative balance against the majority (go read every Senators farewell speech from the past 20 years).

If the GOP had 60 Senators, go for Graham-Cassidy all day... it would suck, but at least they have the "Repeal Obamacare" mandate.

This is why Trump is annoying too.  Because he openly talks about getting rid of the Senate filibuster.  Hey Trumpy, you can pass stuff out of the Senate, but you need Democrat support.  You did not win the popular vote and do not have a mandate.

Is the GOP going to act like a non-governing destructive majority now?  Just because they can't reconcile how to push Obamacare to the right?

No.  I DONT believe that.  At all. I just think the Dems should own it.  And the GOP should as well if they do it.  Which they can't.  Thankfully

Should own what?

Do the Dems own Obamacare?  Absolutely.  The votes say so.

Do they own the Republicans sabotage of Obamacare?  Absolutely not.  For the same reason.

If you're pushing the GOP strategy of "let's intentionally **** with millions of people, and yell real loud that the Democrats did it", then well, you'll find that to be a much easier sell to people who want to believe it, and have years experience at creating a fantasy reality.

Dems own common sense regulation an what many people feel is an individual right and is certainly a collective good for the country.

The latest attempt to roll back reasonable regulations was opposed by insurance groups, AARP, patient groups and doctor groups inside the regulated industry.

Additionally, ths bill provides for better health insurance across the country.

The downside are the negative costs to families and individuals, especially middle class  How much that is blamed on the industry vs. regulation depends on political belief.  How much you are willing to pay for health insurance for the poor also depends on political belief.

No, it tells me that the Republicans gamed the election. I guess you forgot that Clinton won the popular vote by several million votes.

And as more information comes out, the Republicans had assistance from our enemy Russia. That's traitorous.

We need to bring back the Sore Loserman memes

Doesn't that tell you what the voters think of Democrats.   Donald Effing Trump is our President.  That's a frightening rebuke of Democrats

Perhaps it's a result of dems leaving Republican controlled areas for places that are growing and prospering. Check the city council's and voting results of areas that are both of these things and you won't see republicans winning.

For those of us rooting against liberal idiocy.  Democrats have gotten creamed at every level for a decade.  That's a good thing.

Oh, you did mean trolls. Yeah, I figured.
