Sikbug
Working from home and streaming the game on my computer or phone. I really hope the Giants don't win, I'll never hear the end up it up here.
stupidmorals
Are you hooking up with one of these girls or something? If not I can't figure out why you go to these parties considering you make them sound so lame. Well, if you could hear me saying those words you quoted, the jokes inherent in the situation would be more evident. Personally, I find the entire scenario kind of surreal and generally hilarious. They like to have a party that kind of mocks (in a light-hearted, only half-serious kind of way) Super Bowl hysteria. I like to show up and mock their mocking by getting thoroughly involved in the game, forcing the girls to watch replays, and just generally having a ton of fun without having to pretend that "dumb guy stuff" is beneath me. Besides, these people are my friends. I've known them for years, we lived together, we've had many adventures together. One of the old roomies developed a liking for football after I spent last season explaining the game (and the reasons for such fervent fandom). A couple of them usually end up getting involved in the game right beside me, because they're wrapped up in my excitement. Also, I met an extremely attractive young lady at the party last year. We were sitting on the couch together at half-time, watching some terrible Twilight porn, and well...

stupidmorals
stupidmorals, That is possibly the worst explanation I have ever read. Too funny. Well, I'm sorry it wasn't more to your liking. Next time, I'll try to pepper my posts with comments about how generally unattractive the women are and how I've seen way hotter chicks just walking around campus any day of the week. I keed, I keed! ---------- Post added January-30th-2012 at 03:26 PM ---------- That's fine. You just made it sound like you dreaded going every year yet you continue going. Yeah, I guess I was explaining it in a jokingly frustrated kind of way, which doesn't translate well in text. My fault.
mojo
Or Saturday...with two weeks before the Super Bowl, I don't see why it needs to be on a Sunday. One word: MONEY. The host cities make money hand over fist hosting parties and tourists free spending on hotel rooms, food, etc. Saturday night is the big party night, a windfall of money for the city. They would be missing out on a days worth of cash flow if they moved the game to Sat.

Right...but the NFL isn't worried about finding cities willing to host, the cities bend over backwards to be selected. I don't think missing out on one day would change that. I saw Darren Rovell tweet that a 1-star hotel in Indy who usually charges $39/night is now charging $400/night for this week.

RedskinFeathers
Going to a party and doing this: http://www.midwestsportsfans.com/2012/02/super-bowl-46-drinking-game/ Or going to a bar and doing the same thing, though I'd most likely go broke. I'm really excited to get hammered off mentions of Tyree alone. Also, why no mention for drinking every time there's a bull crap flag for someone hitting Brady? But seriously, I have no idea what I'm doing yet.

Being an indoor stadium doesn't it kinda lose the impact?? Just saw the time, nobody will be there at that time.
