Skins-Canes-Mounties
Given their history, the Pats would probably try to work a 2012 out of us as well. I think that the Patriots are a great trade partner given the number of picks that they've got. I would love to get the 17 and 32 or 33. We could throw in a 2012 4th and swap places in the 2011 5th to sweeten the deal.
skinfan2k
2 1st round picks are better than 1. they know thats why they have 2 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
Darc Requiem
You find out who they are taking and select him haha. Trading with the Patriots never turns out well for the other team.
Laxpunk2006
A 3rd rounder for Duane Starks, a 5th for Doug Gabriel. Most of their draft day deals are standard, they often take less than full value (like the Jerod Mayo trade-down). They tried desperately to trade uo for Vernon Carey. They aren't infallible. If it's a trade that makes sense for us, do it. Thank you I was about to post the same thing. The Patriots rarely lose trades but they do on occassion. As far as the OP I would like to get their #17. I don't like the idea of dropping all the way to #32 but once the draft boards become more clear I could certainly be comfortable with it.
Veretax
I'd take a First a 2nd and a late rounder, and might consider throwing in a player if necessary
RBClintonPortis
Well, let's consult the "official" NFL draft trade value chart. Here are the values for each pick for 2011:10 - 1300 17 - 950 32 - 590 33 - 580 62 - 284 74 - 220 94 - 124 So a "fair" trade would be our 10 for their 17, 74 and 94. Personally....I would insist on the 17 and 32/33. This scenerio is preferable. Having said that 10 for 32, 33 and 74 just slightly favors them in points 10 for 32 or 33 (not both) AND 62, 74 and 94 again just slightly favors them
MrSilverMaC
If the pats wanted the Skin's #10 pick, I'd ask them who they were targeting and draft him myself.
wildbill1952
For 17, 33 and 94. It moves us out to where Pouncey and Hudson are not a stretch and fixes our OL and gives us a mid-first, top-second and late 3rd round pick. In a heartbeat, but it'll never happen. SKINSFAN87
It would take their 17th and 33rd this year and maybe a 4th next year.
BadKarma
Pats want the 3-4 LB out of Purdue, I say trade down or take the LB.

hitmandm
Haha TK Thats how I feel! Ever since they came into our house and ran up the score of Gibbs like a bunch of arrogant you know whats, I can't stand them. Cheaters!!
tdigle
I wouldn't do any trades whatsoever with Belichick. The magic of his wheeling-and-dealing lies within the fact that he capitalizes on other's stupidity (or lack of information) and is stingy as sin when it comes to trading something of actual value (if he'll trade it at all). Nah, I wouldn't trust the Patriots organization in any kind of trade; avoid them like the plague, please.
SonnyandSam
Any fair trade would be any trade agreed to by the parties involved. So you think our 2nd and 4th for McCrap was a "fair" trade I suppose. Or perhaps the two draft picks we gave up for Campbell? Just sayin'..... "fair" is in the eye of the beholder....and the fans often think a lot differently than the two teams who made the trade.
pjfootballer
Is my math off? 10th is worth 1300 17th, 32nd and 94th is around 1550.
skinsfan4life7
This is not how the patriots do business. Yes it would be nice to pick up picks from them since they are loaded..but they do not just give them away. They like keeping there draft picks. If anything they will trade one of them away for a better pick in next years draft (example: Got Carolina's 33rd overall pick this year for Armanti Edwards...hmmm)
RabidFan
would love Pouncey with the 17th.
S.T.real,lights,out
Not only that, there is no way the Pats make that trade. Why would they give up 3 picks to move up 7 spots? They've never been the type of team to move that aggressively for a player. Maybe if Green fell to us and the team after us wants him too. Only way i can see it happening. The_Godfather
would love Pouncey with the 17th. And with a lower 1st round pick, grab JJ Watt.
bcl05
The pats have more 1st/2nd/3rd round picks this year than we do/did in 2006, 2007, 2009, and 2010 put together. They have a scarily effective organization, and we've been a farce....
Champskins
They are most likely going to be Super Bowl Champions with a very young team.... what do they really NEED??? They have plenty of picks and I could actually see teams giving more picks to the Pats for the Pats earlier picks... The Pats do it right. They are always competitive/playoff contenders/super bowl bound, and have a ton of talent and draft picks...
WhoRUSupposed2Be
Ask yourself? Are we really in any kind of position to be helping the ****ing Patriots?
