He no longer is the Raiders head coach. Raiders offensive coordinator Hue Jackson now becomes a leading candidate to succeed Tom Cable. Again, be nice to bring Cable in as our new OL coach. Cable did something for that franchise that hasn't been done since 2002... and that was to go atleast 8-8. First sign of progress and Al Davis fires him. Whens the last time we have seen the raiders play this good, and this tough THIS late in the season...competitors throughout. Apparently Cable and the boys were celebrating that they weren't 'losers' anymore like they had won the Super Bowl. That was a snippet I had heard on 980 this morning. Still, seems daft to me.
